What was my point? Combining Church and State is not a good idea. Zealots often get the reigns of power and get carried away. Who the hell Cares about Gays getting married? It will not make Christianity any less true - or false. It is not going to change my marriage one bit (sadly - my mate could use a couple of improvements). Gays are just getting their revenge for prior persecutions. And a rather mild revenge at that. Let them have it. It will be their downfall in the end. Take it to heart.
