BREAKING: A Third Former DOJ Official Steps Forward to Support J. Christian Adams (Updated)

As the Department of Justice director of public affairs under Attorney General John Ashcroft, I witnessed the hostility of the “career” Civil Rights Division attorneys firsthand.
Internal disagreements over policy routinely became matters for the press, via leaks to reporters or leaks to Democrat members of Congress. They had no compunction about breaking the ethical requirement of attorneys to keep those internal deliberations confidential.
AdvertisementI am not surprised that the Department is attacking J. Christian Adams. The Civil Rights Division attorneys have no interest in the rule of law as written and passed by Congress — the New Black Panther case is glaring proof that the Division has an agenda. If Congress was truly interested in oversight, there would be hearings on this case and others.
J. Christian Adams did the honorable thing in resigning and speaking out.
Democrats constantly complained about the lack of oversight when Republicans were the majority party in Congress. Can any reasonable person imagine the Democrats ignoring a case of blatant violations of the Voting Rights Act (captured on video) brought by career Civil Rights Division attorneys being dismissed by a Republican attorney general?
Any veteran of the Justice Department should be outraged.
PJ Media will need to do some tracking over a period of time, of the Justice Department careers of those hardy souls who go public as Asheesh Agarwal just has done. Due and public notice must be taken of any negative evaluations, disciplining or re-posting to Siberia of these Federal employees. This battle is just beginning, it looks like an uphill slog, and some systematic history must be recorded and reported.

I disagree. In spite of Obama race relations are fine, among those people who don’t play identity politics in the first place. There are more than 20 black GOP candidates for Congress this year, most if not all Tea-Party-endorsed. All races participate in Tea Party events (although I wish more minorities did). Conservatives read Shelby Steele and Thomas Sowell.
Some people lament that because of Obama it will be a long time before we elect another black president. I just don’t think that’s true. Conservatives will not hesitate to elect a black conservative. Libertarians will not hesitate to elect a black libertarian. Obama might try to foment a race war, but it will be among the usual suspects. The rest of us can stay out of the way and continue to connect with people who share our values, whatever group they belong to.

Holder says Americans per se are cowards for not having a serious discussion about race, and when he has a perfect opportunity to be a living example by explaining the DOJ’s actions in this case, he ducks reporters’ inquiries, orders his charges to be silent, and ignores demands for clarification.

I’m not a lawyer so I couldn’t say specifically why the accusation of Minutemen “intimidation” was not prosecuted. However, the folks at MMFA (i.e., Media Matters for America … or, you can use it as an acronym for something else, like I do) imply that the Bush DOJ’s decision not to go after the Minutemen was political. There’s just one problem with that theory, and it’s a big problem: Bush hated the Minutemen.
The incident outside an Arizona polling station to which the MMFAs breathlessly refer occurred on Election Day, November 2006. Nearly a year and eight months earlier, Bush sneered at the Minutemen as “vigilantes” in a joint appearance with Vicente Fox, then the President of Mexico. Bush did everything he could to prevent a groundswell of support for a border fence or any show of force by American law enforcement that might actually discourage illegal immigrants from crossing the Southern border. Bush fought off popular opinion supporting a new border fence by proposing the “virtual fence” that saw hundreds of millions shoveled to Boeing in exchange for absolutely nothing. And the Bush Admin prosecuted with vigor a case brought by a Mexican drug smuggler against two Border Patrol agents (Ignacio Ramos & Jose Compean) who shot him as he was fleeing across the border. A U.S. Attorney who is a personal GWB friend (Johnny Sutton) sent each of the agents to hard time in federal prison in amongst illegal immigrant criminals who didn’t take kindly to Border agents. Bush ignored calls to pardon the officers, but commuted their sentences on his final day as POTUS.
There’s no doubt in my mind that if George W. Bush thought he possibly could lock up (or at least enjoin) the Minutemen based on that case, he would have done so. Barack Obama and Eric Holder had the NBBP in a video vise, and let them loose.
Media Matters is not a credible source. Through the use of pervasive propaganda, psy-ops and others types of undesirables, its writers attempt to manipulate, influence, and otherwise “massage our brains.”

If three former DoJ officials have stepped forward to corroborate the Adams story, arbitrarily withholding two of their names and statements for crass promotional purposes is an unfortunate, substantive, change of course. You know who they are, but you’re not telling? What precisely is “this space,” that you’re expecting me to revisit for days?
The Breitbart model may be seductive, but it is a personality based, sui generis, operation, driven relentlessly from the top down, which seems completely antithetical to the dispersed intelligence which is PJM’s fundamental strength. It should be clear to everyone by now that this current Congress DOES NOT act on the will of its constituents. Thus far, this Congress has undertaken actions as proponents of corporations. These actions are adverse to America and to us citizens.
So, regarding IMPEACHMENT, I don’t think we can count on any help from Congress. I know this for a fact because I have received only 4 canned responses to the 350+ protest letters I FAXED to Congress.

The magnitude of the corruption and illegal activity of the DOJ is breathtaking. Equally breathtaking is the complete yawn this is producing from both the mainstream media and the American people. The only place this is an issue is on blogs like this.
Our government is in the hands of corrupt ideologues who will continue to push the bounds of legality, ethics and morality until they are either stopped by the American people, or they achieve their goals.
So far they’ve been achieving their goals and the American people are not showing any inclination to stop them. Obama still enjoys favorable ratings from half of the American people. His approval rating from the “black community” is still nearly 100%. Democrats are at near historic lows in congressional approval, but they are still at near parity with Republicans.
The reason this country is going down the tubes is not because Barack Obama and his buddies chose to take us there. It’s because the vast majority of the American people are either incapable or are unwilling to understand what is going on.

On Megyn Kelley’s show a few moments ago Megyn had a female contributor (lawyer) appear to argue for the DOJ…clearly the guest had not done her homework, which tends to be the mode of operation of ideologues on the left. We could be one month, one year or one election away from a total economic collapse and a President who will probably suspend the Constitution and declare himself sole power. As a deeply alarmed citizen, college graduate, and aspiring law student, I feel compelled to speak against the egregious nature of the DOJ’s unequivocal racially motivated decision to chose inaction on a default judgment, where to any honest observer the defendent’s behavior at the very minimum constitutes “hate crime” through – recent – legislatively established definition.

D-White, do you have any first hand knowledge of the black community? I’ve been a professional musician most of my life, and have had the opportunity and pleasure of performing with many black musicians. And I did live in a predominately black community for several years. I have experienced black culture up close and personal.
I don’t think you understand the level of intimidation that exists in many black communities. Everyone knows who’s who, who the people are that you don’t want to mess with, situations to be avoided and the unwritten rules to be followed. Simply put, black on black oppression is something that black people living in large predominately black neighborhoods have to deal with on some level on a daily basis. Not only blacks, but anyone who enters or lives in that defined territory.
This is a situation where the justice system has failed to protect the innocent.
The Panthers are well known in the black community for being big time intimidators. They could be compared in some ways to a political Hells Angels, with much more community involvement. If you get involved with either, you best be with them, if not, you pay the consequences. The Angels pretty much stay to themselves, but… don’t go there if don’t “know”. The Panthers are much more present.
I will add this. I have known several Panthers and many Hells Angels who were (are) basically good people. But when push comes to shove, and if you don’t want to be part of it, you best make yourself scarce. And quiet.

Please keep publishing this stuff. Folks, send this out to your friends. You must fuel the outrage. There is so little of it, that the word has nearly disappeared from our lexicon.
A little off-topic, but reintroducing such powerful, but little-used words will go a long way to removing the power of the demagogues. For example, if people don’t know what a meretricious argument is, how then shall they recognize it when they hear one, and reject the argument and the arguer as unworthy? If they don’t know what outrage is, how then shall they suffer and express it?

The USA is either now in a total state of denial that we are not in danger of being taken over by what President Bush said “we want to fight the enemy on their own soil and not on ours”. The federal government, through the DOJ, is prosecuting a case against a state and it’s people over creating a law who’s language is almost exactly the same as the federal law that the federal government refuses to enforce.
While at the same time the federal government, through the DOJ, is not prosecuting a case against individuals who advocate hate crimes, voter intimidation and according to the latest news infanticide and genocide.

Eric Holder must be told to step down. As Obama’s protector and watchdog, he is unfairly making decisions favoring the minorities. This is not the American way and will not be tolerated anymore.
