Al-Qaeda's popularity is dropping like a rock. Even Muslim extremists have turned against Osama and gang. Maybe dropping like a rock, but extremely conservative Islam-ism/Shari'a continue to gain ground in northern/western Pakistan where Osama and crowd are reportedly entrenched. Which is worrisome. Pakistani government does deal with Taliban on sharia law

All bin Laden has to do to regain his popularity, is commit another major attack on Western interests. The Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Lloyd’s of London, any part of the financial district in New York City…all of these would improve his popularity. So the problem still exists. The Muslims haven’t changed their way of thinking. They merely disapprove of bin Laden’s current targets.

I doubt if the jihadis have changed their minds. They have heard Obama say he is pulling our troops out and is willing to talk to the Taliban. They are just waiting—-(the patience of a thousand years).

After shouting that The Jihad had America right where they wanted us, they got a good beating in Iraq, by local Sunnis as well as infidels. I assume that many relatives and friends of jihadis who flocked to Iraq to kill the crusaders are not amused they died for nothing. Osama got it right when he said Muslims would choose the strong horse.

well, has Osama really existed ? wasn’t he an icone that the modern video regies can create and manipulate ? OK, he was the boss of the whole jihadism apparatchik, kind of George Soro with charity businesses, global bank… for the muslims, since the Russians left Afghanistan, in 2 decades, he had quit enough time to recruit and to train some key organisators, that are not the idiots who are going to blow themselves up, but they are good managers, they know the commercial strategies, they know how to use the internet tool, and like the moon sect they have millions of souls across the world wide ready to work for them, in our countries too, especially in our countries. They don’t need the poor villans whose families get a handful of banknotes for the sacrifice of one of them. These educateds have many delegations to get more adepts, in our jails, in our difficult surburbs… wealthy quaters, and an occidental that would become an human bomb will not make it because of misery, but rather because he has become more fanatic than his patrons, I have remarked how these “white” converted guis are radical in their discourses, in their new clothes, beard, hair habits ; islam has become their new “revolution”, and they believe that they are recasting the revolutionnaires.
So, this is why we have to survey the leftist agitations too, they are the soil for islam revolution
