Keep up the great reporting and analysis.  I am just a few miles from you in the International Zone.  Anecdotally, it seems to me that Imposing the Law (or the beginnings of the Surge, as it is sometimes called) is working, because I hear fewer car bombs than I did beforehand.  And I agree that the real front now in the War on Terror in many ways is the American Congress.

		<description>The enemy laid low for a while and then unleashed a spate of attacks for media effect.  It will be interesting to see if they can sustain a high level of activity, or if things will go relatively quiet again.  I get the sense that the enemy is not capable of the attack pace which preceeded the new strategy.  Of course, since this is also my hope, I may be looking through the proverbial rose-colored glasses.
