The politician Senator Peter King once called the IRA “the legitimate voice of occupied Ireland,” he was banned from the BBC by British censors for his pro-IRA views, and he refused to denounce the IRA when one of its mortar bombs killed nine Northern Irish police officers. The prisoner release programme was part of the Good Friday agreement and came with conditions.

The reason why some extradition’ were refused is because U.S judges deemed them political prisoners.who would not get a fair trial here.

It’s a hassle extraditing or deporting these IRA maggots…but, we keep working on it, ’til we get the job done.

He was arrested by the FBI in 1983, thrown into prison (where he spent the next nine years), and after a lengthy legal battle, was deported to Northern Ireland in 1992. The Brits tossed him into their jail, and then turned him loose in 1998.

We kept the guy locked up, and the United States government never gave up trying to send him back to the UK…which we finally were able to do…and then…you freed him!
