Anti-Israel Protests in America Cross the Line of Decency
Florida
In Florida, approximately 200 to 300 Muslim youth and community members organized a protest outside a Fort Lauderdale courthouse on December 30, 2008. The protest was organized by A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, Act Now to Stop War and Racism, and the Muslim American Society.
Placards and messages depicted by the protesters said things such as “Nuke Israel,” a sentiment also expressed vocally by a protester at one point. Another protester shouted to the Jewish and pro-Israel supporters, “You need ovens, that’s what you need!” The person appeared perfectly comfortable with voicing this opinion more than once.

Dallas
In Dallas, the chapter of CAIR gathered hundreds of individuals and hosted a public exhibition at the assassination site of the late President Kennedy. CAIR is still listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the recent case which found that members of a pro-Palestinian group had illegally funneled more than 12 million dollars to Hamas. CAIR has unsuccessfully attempted to get the name of their organization removed from the list.
At around 4:05 of this video the Muslim crowds begin chanting “Khaiber, khaiber al Yahud.” The Arabic chanting is almost genocidal. The protesters mention Muhammad and suggest that he is coming to the border to wage a war. “Khaiber” may allude to the Battle of Khaiber, in which the prophet of Islam massacred the Jews of Khaiber for failing to submit to Islam. Protesters seem to depict their desire for the annihilation of Jews, shouting genocidal statements in Arabic.
Chicago
The scene in Chicago was exceptionally ugly. Police estimated that nearly 3,000 Palestinian supporters gathered at the Chicago Tribune Plaza in front of the Israeli Consulate. The protesters had megaphones and large speakers, making certain that their angry ranting and raging in both Arabic and English was heard.
One of the Palestinian supporters crossed the barriers and physically assaulted a civilian who came out in support of Israel. Pro-Israel supporters had stones and coins thrown at them as they stood in silence watching this angry mob.
One of the members of the protest group took an “Israeli” flag from one of the Israel supporters, placed it on the ground, and spat upon it. The protester later took the flag and lit it on fire. It was clear that the Chicago Police Department had no idea of what they were getting into. The police had to provide an armed escort for the Jews and pro-Israel supporters in the area.
The protests in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, and other cities have been quite similar. Protesters have openly carried large signs juxtaposing the Israeli flag with Nazi symbols.
Other placards protesters carried have said things such as “Down With Zionism.” By definition, “Zionism” is a term coined in 1896 to describe an international philosophy maintaining that Jews should have a single national homeland in the Middle East where they would not have to worry about discrimination, pogroms, or other persecutions, but be able to live peacefully.
Today, 15 countries are officially Muslim and 48 countries maintain Muslim majority populations. It is detestable for someone who is from one of these countries to call for the annihilation of the single Jewish state which is the size of New Jersey. This unreasonable condemnation of Zionism is even more ridiculous when one considers that Zionism allowed for the creation of a country which is tolerant of all individuals and minorities, including Muslims. While Muslims today serve within the Israeli government and enjoy a higher standard of living than any other country in the Middle East, the remaining Jews in Islamic countries live in fear of persecution.
Of course, the consensus among radical Muslims present at these rallies is that Jews should all go back to Poland or Russia. Yet more than half of Israelis are Middle EasternIn 1945 there were up to one million Jews living in the Middle East and North Africa — many living in communities dating back more than three millennia. Today, there are only a few thousand remaining as Jews became unwelcome in their own countries. Jews experienced vicious pogroms at the hands of Arab governments, sparking a mass exodus of Mizrahi Jews to modern-day Israel.
Jewish organizations and concerned citizens must effectively demonstrate and rally together for Israel against unwarranted hatred and lies.
I’m staying clear of these Muhammedans; Won’t be long before one or more of them detonate. These demonstrations are only the fuse for fomenting more active displays.
Keep your loved ones at a safe distance, also.

Do you really believe that rallying together will solve this? No. There will be only one way this gets solved one day. It’s time folks wake up and smell the coffee. America’s police agencies allowing them to use violence in their rallies without hauling them all in for fingerprinting for future reference shows what path our country is going down. Pro-hate rallies now, pro-terrorist rallies next. Look to Great Britain if you’d like to see America’s future. When will our Dear Leader Obama come out against this? Or will he?

I wonder what would happen if the residents of the bombarded towns in Israel started firing their own “homemade” rockets back at the Gazans? The MSM would probably not view it as “a form of protest” the way they do the Hamas rockets. Heck, with the better education that the average Israeli has they could probably build some pretty decent ones.
The mind boggling part is that the sort of behavior displayed by the protestors, and the Gazans they support, has become accepted. The Liberal Elite and MSM (did I jusdt repeat myself?) don’t seem to realize the racist assumptions that go into the “well, they JUST can’t help themselves” explanations of Hamas’ behavior. Israel seems to be the only country that I know of that keeps winning wars and then is forced to make concessions to the losers of those wars. The reason that I’m skeptical that this war on Hamas will succeed is because of Israel’s self-imposed decency. If Hamas had the power, does anyone really think that they would hesitate for a minute to destroy Israel? If Hamas really wanted peace, why didn’t they simply take an active role in the peace process? The answer (as everyone knows) is that Hamas never had, and never will have, any desire to live in peace next to Israel and that Hamas’ members would rather die in abject poverty rather than pursue a brighter future for their own people through peace negotiations. So, given Hamas’ determination not to live in peace, what is Israel to do? The logical answer would be to crush and kill all of the members of Hamas that could pose a future threat to Israel. Crush them so decisively that there wouldn’t be any Hamas members left in large numbers to mount any kind of offensive against Israel. Does Israel have the stomach to do that, knowing the instant condemnation it would receive from Europe, not to mention the rest of the Muslim world? Of course not, which is why Israel will have to fight this same battle with Hamas again, and again, and again. The only way for Israel to obtain long-term security from Hamas is to secure an unconditional surrender from that terror organization. Will that ever happen? Not a chance, and that’s the real tragedy that’s unfolding right now in Gaza.
It baffles me why the liberals want to protect Muslims.

I’m 64 years old.My family (fathers, nephews, brothers, sons, daughters-in-law, granddaughter–) have served in the military, (WW I, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, flights over Cuba and Russia) have honored and protected our nation and have never habitually talked foolishly about force or “fighting back”. But there had better be some TALKING going on during these times. “Talking” does not equate escalation or condemnation, but it is an essential part of the health of our Republic and the freedom to TALK about touchy subjects about which we may disagree is one thing that the PC folks have taken away from the public forum in the last 20 years.

When Israel withdrew from the Gaza, they left behind valuable infrastructure, including facilities to grow food and vegitables, donated by Bill Gates of Microsoft, that if used properly would have supplied close to half the food needs of the entire Gaza strip. What did the Palis do when Israel withdrew? They trashed the greenhouses and stole whatever wasn’t nailed down.
The reason the Palis are in such hardship is entirely the fault of Hamas, the Palestinian Authority (now THERE’s an oximoron) and the other Arab nations in the region who refuse to aid their so-called brethren because these people will not work for themselves and prefer to cry the ‘victim’ cry.

So if somebody on US soil carries a Hamas flag, aren’t they performing a marketing service for Hamas? If a person were collecting money on US soil with the intent of sending that money to Hamas, they would certainly be guilty of aiding a terrorist organization. So if an anti war protester carries a Hamas flag on US soil, isn’t that the equivalent of sending the same amount of money to Hamas as Hamas would have to pay to employ somebody to carry a Hamas flag on US soil?
Why aren’t these people arrested and charged with aiding a terrorist organization?

Especially as everybody can see that in the post you refer to I was also talking about sikhs, christians and other groups too. The example of Beth Din courts is a perfectly valid example of different groups having different arrangements.

No, those women don’t accept Sharia principles and so they will not take part in Sharia proceedings, any attempt to force them is a matter for the criminal lawcourts.
The same laws could be used to set up tribunals based on the principles of Scientology, Baha’i or libetarianism. It’s not anything specifically to do with muslims or Islam much as you would like it to be.
