Col. Allen West discusses NBA basketball player Jason Collins. Collins revealed publicly that he is gay, and received a telephone call from President Obama. Col. Allen West contrasts this with the heroism of soldiers like Sgt. Greg Robinson, who became the first amputee to complete Air Assault School. The training was so grueling that Robinson broke his prosthetic leg twice. Did Sgt. Robinson receive a call from President Obama? Did other decorated soldiers like Army Lieutenant Col. Matthew Dooley? Find out.

An awesome piece Col. West. Oh how I wish there were more men of your integrity and bravery in this once great country.

The explanation is simple. Obama cares deeply, on a very personal level, about basketball. He couldn't give a frog's fat a$$ about our soldiers.

Once you realize that the disparity makes perfect sense.

In a time when most media voices are apologists for atrocities and purveyors of political correctness it is always a breath of fresh air to hear from Col. West. I watched this video and found myself saying "Yes!" at several points as he said things that made such obvious sense that I'm still scratching my head at how anyone could disagree with West.

There is no doubt in my mind that the amputee soldier or the instructor at the army school are far more heroic than the basketball player. But the amputee soldier was ignored and the army instructor was actually persecuted for telling the truth.

The world seems upside down. Everything that is good and true and courageous is being trampled down. Everything that is weak, and dishonest and cowardly is being elevated. It makes no sense yet it doesn't stop. In fact, it seems to be accelerating. Does anyone with three brain cells to rub together really believe this is going to end well?

If one is an Obama/Reid/Pelosi voter the obvious answer is, "Yes!" For the more sane and educated among us, the answer is an equally obvious, "No!!"
