There’s something sickly about black people who “ape” (itself a stereotype) black stereotypes to give cover to racists. How transparent can you be? How much is this man being paid? Ditty? For serious??

And on his main page Zo has a video where he (one of the few african americans) tells the truth about American history:
1. Slave traders and all these southern plantation owners were DEMOCRATS. People who liberated black slaves were REPUBLICANS, like LINCOLN.
2. People on the south, who didn’t want to give the black people their rights were DEMOCRATS. MARTIN LUTHER KING WAS A REPUBLICAN.
3. KKK is an organization founded by the southern DEMOCRATS.
Teacher’s Union has done a great job to convince the black minority of the opposite. Thanks to G-d for Zo and others who “escaped the plantation” (his words, not mine).

Dood. “Democrat” and “Republican” are names that have meant a lot of different things throughout history. The Dixiecrats were alienated by LBJ’s civil rights act and they defected, as part of Nixon’s southern strategy (behind Strom Thurmond: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strom_thurmond) to the Republicans on mass. The coalitions are changing again, and will continue changing as long as America is a free country. Modern Republicsns can claim the accomplishments of Lincoln no more than they should be held to account for the crappiness of Hoover. Facts are facts, but some are more relevant than others to the world we live in. The 19th and early 20th century American history are very important, but they aren’t a trump on the history of the last 30, 20, 10, or even 5 years.

aramkr: You’re right, any half-wit could write liberal orthodoxy, just like any halfwit could write conservative orthodoxy. What’s hard is understanding people’s real, uncaricatured, positions and engaging them so that (1) they can understand better where you’re coming from; and (2) you can understand better where they’re coming from. Radicals on both side are foreclosing on the debate to take refuge in safe comfortable echo chambers, and it’s really really sad.

Hey Ben, I am a conservative, and I have no black friends, none.
I don’t associate with them in any way typically, other than work with them in a given day. Truthfully, they tell me the same thing, as in they don’t associate with white people. Interesting..
In my life, I want the right to do what I want, visit who I want, go where I want..and for the do gooders to get the hell out of my way. Maybe one day.
I guess I am a hater and a reactionary. Good point DoD. Thanks for helping me see the truth. Black people making farces of themselves to validate my worst assumptions about them is really inspiring. Consider me now on the “movement” bandwagon.
Joe: I’m all for freedom from excessive bleeding-heart liberal guilt. I draw the line when shedding just a bit more guilt requires that I be in denial. I take your point that you don’t associate with black people except to talk with them about why you don’t associate with each other. You don’t fit into my (I admit) sweeping generalization.
