Al-Qaeda to American Muslims: Kill the Infidel, Make a Living!
In the latest issue of Inspire magazine, published by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, American al-Qaeda commander Anwar al-Awlaki declares that Sharia law requires American Muslims to commit robbery, embezzlement, and theft, for the purpose of funding jihad attacks, financially supporting groups committed to Salafi-jihadi causes, and covering their living expenses.
Al-Awlaki admits that Islamic law allows legitimate Muslim rulers to enter into binding treaties and covenants with non-Muslim nations, but he quickly dismisses this possibility by stating that there are no legitimate Muslim rulers in the world today because they are all apostates. He adds that — even if there were legitimate Muslim rulers — treaties and covenants could not be made with the U.S. because it is at war with Islam.
After a lengthy analysis of how the four schools of Sunni Islam view this topic, he concludes that:
In the case of the United States, both the government and private citizens should be targeted. America and Americans are the Imams of kufr in this day and age. The American people who vote for war mongering governments are intent on no good. Anyone who inflicts harm on them in any form is doing a favor to the ummah. … Since jihad around the world is in dire need of financial support, we urge our brothers in the West to take it upon themselves to give this issue a priority in their plans. Rather than the Muslims financing their jihad from their own pockets, they should finance it from the pockets of their enemies.
Many commentators have mistakenly focused on this new statement as a sign of al-Qaeda’s financial weakness, but they widely miss the point.
Al-Qaeda has never hidden the fact that it needs money. For years, Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri, and other al-Qaeda leaders have repeatedly cajoled and pleaded for more money from the faithful.
The actual point is that — as of about a year ago — al-Qaeda launched a dynamic new strategic campaign designed to turn American Muslims against their government and transform them into an active and self-sustaining arm of the global jihad. Al-Awlaki’s new declaration simply tells them how they can finance their attacks and make a living at the same time.
Most Americans do not fully comprehend or appreciate the degree to which the al-Qaeda organization has focused its attention on American Muslims. This new focus is a huge departure from al-Qaeda’s past approach, and the fact that its message is tailored for American Muslims in colloquial English written by influential American jihadists such as al-Awlaki, Adam Gadahn, and Samir Khan, delivered via an online magazine with cool graphics and punchy headlines, enables it to engage, influence, and recruit young American Muslims.
Using this tailored mass media approach, al-Qaeda takes American Muslims by the hand and patiently explains to them exactly where they fit into the grand jihad and how, as insiders, they are uniquely positioned to strike a blow against Islam’s fiercest enemy.

Halal restaurants are on almost every block in Toronto now. Are we supposed to believe that there are this many Moslems in Toronto that such a demand is necessary? It is not just restaurants….every shop that has a Moslem store-owner (and I know of beauty parlours, furniture/painting stores, grocery stores) have Arabic plastered on their windows. This absolutely infuriates me. They complain about not being accepted into society, and yet and deliberately set themselves apart from non-Moslems. KICK THEM ALL OUT.
Here is an example of what you are talking about, and it shows the politic forces behind this silence and they extend beyond the MSM.
Several months ago there was an incident involving a Muslim cab driver who was attacked by an American man. The news reported witnesses who gave this account – they saw a passenger talking to the cab driver and then a frantic attempt with a knife to attack him. The witnesses reported that the passenger put his hand with the knife through the partition window and was wild;y swinging the knife trying to stab the driver.
It later turned out that the passenger had worked in Afghanistan recently and was, at the time of this incident, working for one of the group advocating the Mosque at ground zero.
Our Mayor, Mike Bloomberg, played this as public hostility to Muslims, visited the driver in the hospital, apologized etc.
Let’s look at what really, likely, happened. The reports of frantic and frenetic swings of the knife resulted in hardly any wounds on the driver. The passenger could have chopped away and caused more wounds and punctures. But I believe these frenetic movements were the determined attempts by the passenger to position his knife to cut the driver’s throat. This would be the required fate of a Muslim who is a non-believer, as I understand it if adminsitered by worthy Muslim or friend thereof – these types of rules being flexible and practical, if need be.
Our Mayor is a strong supporter of the ground zero Mosque and a dutiful spokesman as his investments in Saudi Arabia might require, or as his favors might be requested. The Mayor has signed an exclusive deal with the Saudi’s to sell Bloomberg terminals and to build a Saudi Stock Exchange. This is a huge feather in Bloomberg’s cap. To build an exchange is a once in a lifetime project.

This is a generational struggle we are in with al Qaeda, a war that will last much longer than the Cold War. If we are to win it, we have to find and KILL people like al-Awlaki. We also have to find some way to appeal to Muslims here in America to assist us in this fight against al Qaeda. If we can keep the pressure on Awlaki and people of his ilk, al Qaeda may just confine their acts of terrorism to the Middle East. But I doubt that. These nuts are in a fight to the end and the sooner we realize that, the faster we will be able to do whatever it takes to hunt these individuals down and KILL them. Notice I said KILL them, not arrest them, not read them their rights, or give them a trial. Al Qaeda has said and proved time and again that it sees our legal system simply as a way to avoid apprehension. We must prove to them that we will find them and destroy them wherever they are and wherever they are hiding. That is the only way you’re going to stop homicidal maniacs like this. There is no “reasoning” with them, there is no “negotiating” with them. The faster we understand that, the faster we’ll be able to end this conflict, even though it will take time.

Someone claiming to be an American Muslim which Inspire claims was a letter to the editor. Which I doubt: is Inspire more honest than a normal American newspaper or television network, which would use plants or fraud to get across their point-of-view?

Being that these people have shown themselves to be rather incompetent in these last few years, I think this should hardly cause any panic. Our law enforcement and both the state and federal level has shown a lot of improvement in their ability to infiltrate groups and nab people who actually attempt this (witness Washington state over Christmas). Of course, there is always the chance, being that we are (not yet anyway) a total police state, that an attack could be planned and attempted without being caught first. Everyone should be alert and ready to respond at these times.
Which brings up another interesting point. Have you considered how incredibly EASY it would be to cause mass death, suffering and chaos in our country? I’m pretty sure everyone reading this could think up roughly a dozen ways to commit a probably rather successful terrorist attack and even get away with it, at least for a while. Think how open our country is. Really, there isn’t a whole lot that can stop some angry reject from a failed country with too much sand who has a couple of sticks of dynamite from hitting one of the hundreds and hundreds of thousands of soft targets that are here in the US. Considering how stupidly easy it would be to leave a package in, say, a crowded Walmart in Jackson, Mississippi, has the fact that we haven’t had lots of these perhaps give anyone else the impression that our enemies are not quite as powerful as they would like us to think?
And no, I’m not saying that they are totally weak. I am simply saying that the sheer level panic that many in the chattering classes are trying to drum up here in our country seems a bit… overrated maybe?
That’s actually an interesting point: obviously our intelligence and law-enforcement services have been rather effective, all things considered. Is that because they’re much better than advertised, or because they’ve been facing – essentially – only amateurs up to this point? How long until Iran or Egypt (should Mubarak fall) or some other Muslim country decides to send in their professionals and really attempt to cause chaos here?

That is good tactical advice. Of course it’s not that it would be wrong to to rob and kill your neighbors, no it’s that they are armed and might defend themselves . The Koran teaches that robbing, killing and enslaving your non-Muslim neighbors is not just fine, it a requirement of any good Muslim , and of course lying is OK too . Islam and decency are incompatable .
