Ahmadinejad: ‘A Mideast Without Israel and America Now Possible’
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards website, Sepah News, reports:
In his first press conference of the new year 1390 [Iranian New Year was on March 21] which took place on Monday evening, April 4th, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad asserted that a new Middle East, without the specter of the Zionist regime, America and its proxies, is taking shape.
Ahmadinejad warned that the U.S. and its allies plan to partition Jordan under the guise of creating a Palestinian state which is in fact nothing more than an attempt to save the Zionist regime. He cautioned: “The governments and peoples of the region must be vigilant and aware, not to fall pray to the conspiracy and the deception of the U.S., its allies and the Zionist regime.”
Remarking on U.S. foreign policy, Ahmadinejad maintained that both the Bush and Obama administrations actually followed the very same course of action, and added: “If the previous U.S. president left office with his head hanging in shame, his successor will be leaving the political scene with more derision and humiliation.” Quoting Obama’s campaign slogan of change and supporting the rights of people, Ahmadinejad then said: “Behind this attractive appearance lurks the same old criminals, professional and typical thieves, those same slave owners and colonialists and this time their aim is to once again save their own banking system and imperialist interests. The last U.S. administration very openly and publicly rolled out its tanks, cannons, machine guns and bullied its way into the field; the successor who then claimed to be for change has, on the one hand, the arms and military force and, on the other hand, the apparatus of deception and intrigue.”
Then addressing U.S. authorities, Ahmadinejad said: “The time of pillaging and imposition on the peoples of the world is over and these forms of crimes and subterfuge will not save the day anymore.”
Returning to his comments, he continued: “I can safely say that they will simply not be able to do anything and that this is the end of the road. With the Lord’s mercy, the people of the region will be victorious and the business of cruelty and malevolence will be shut down forever, and where the just and humane leadership will replace the inhumane and uncivilized authoritarians.”

Summer of 1942 was the height of Axis expansion, after that they continually lost ground, hmm. right after the US really got going.

Like Henry said, this appears to be a veiled admission that Iran has completed their first working nuke. If so, the world is about to become a gravely more serious and dangerous place. I suspect that Iran will wait until it has several more nukes, but these “Twelvers”, as they are called in Iran, are historically unpredictable and volatile! Literally anything could happen!
If/when war erupts in the Middle East, and especially if Iran detonates a nuke, crude oil will reach $300/barrel almost instantaneously! Gasoline will not only cost $7-$10 per gallon, but rationing both by price and by state will be almost immediate. Long lines at the pump will make those of the ’70s Arab oil embargo seem paltry in comparison.
Worse yet, it will cause food prices also to skyrocket. Farmers will be hampered in food production because crude oil is necessary for virtually every stage of production, including tilling soil, planting seed, fertilizing (made from crude oil), and harvesting crops. And that doesn’t even considered manufacturing and trucking/distribution. We would literally be faced with shortages and rationing of food.
Few Americans can remember days of rationing in the USA. We would be soon reacquainted, and it wouldn’t be a pleasant reunion! “Rationing” would be common phraseology overnight as we all are forcefully reintroduced.
Even the Strategic Petroleum Reserve won’t save us. It represents only about a 3-week supply of oil for the United States.
When one considers the potential ramifications of this announcement, any sane and reasoned person should shudder in their shoes!

Hey, Achmadingy-had a great idea, “Divide Jordan into two nations, and give one to the Palestinians”. That is great, that would solve the problem that Israel has from people inside its borders lobbing missiles into Israel from inside Israel. They could now shoot them across a recognized national border. After all most palestinians are really of Arabic Jordanian descent.
Glad Achmahidinijad thought of it. The problem Iran has is it does not recognize Israel but calls the entire region a part of Jordan. Therefore a two state solution, gives Jordanian land to palestinians and to Israel even though carved from Israel’s territory.
A good solution is to move all people who do not want to recognize Israel or become Israeli citizens to their own nation on the east of the Jordan, to be fully funded and supported by Iran and the surrounding supporting nations, surrounded by a huge protection force that does not allow arms into new Palestine, or Palestinians into Israel.
Now that Egypt will be renigging on their peace treaty. The UN should give back the Sinai to Israel, and Lebanon too!.

Those who advocate and/or wage offensive war are the aggressors and the terrorists. These are the international criminals in today’s world. Those who simply do not like others but take no action against them have a right to their opinion.

There is no doubt that America is now sucking wind due largely to having been led down the wrong path by BOTH major political parties that have pursued the same disastrous policies for Americans and America. But the American people are also at fault. Firstly, for putting their blind faith in their government and their Party to do what’s right for them as individual Americans. Secondly, for not taking the time to educate themselves on how humans and their world really work.
Liberty, prosperity and security are everyone’s right the world over – not just in America. The lesson with America choosing to avoid these conflicts was learned in World War 2. America, the French, and the English could have stopped Hitler and World War 2 (with it’s 40 million plus casualties)up until the point he invaded Chechoslovakia. After that it was too late as he gained the Chech armament factories to fuel his war plans, and his support in Germany was solidified (the Germans were actually thinking of kicking Hitler out until Chamberlain showed up, cap in hand, to sign for “Peace in our time”). What the western world has learned is that a policy of isolationism doesn’t work. Follow this policy and the next thing you know you’ll have planes with red circles on their wings flying over your fleet at Pearl Harbor and you’ll be involved in a world war anyway. Much better to hit the enemy on his soil early. The other lesson the West learned was to develop and use the best weapons. The West has the best weapons and hits early, and that’s why we’ll win. Nothing about morale superiority or our God is better than theirs, just good old fire power and the will to use it.
America’s founders were not isolationists. They engaged in commerce and exchange. They simply decided to stay out of the internal quarrels of Europe for the reasons their quotes state. ‘Minding your own business’ does not make one an isolationist.

The real war being waged against America is being waged from within by persons who have co-oped the powers of finance and government.
