Our Governement spends so much money on sozial welfare that there is nothing left to fund a strong army. Add to that a over-the-top bureaucracy demanding that our troops in afghanistan separate their trash ecologically correct or stop them from using their cars because in afghanistan they cant get the mandatory governement security checkup. Simply put, the german troops of today are not able to go to where the fighting is. @ Brian:
