Abdo’s Loyalty to Muslims Always Meant Disloyalty to Americans
To anyone familiar with Muslim doctrine, Pfc. Naser Jason Abdo’s actions — from refusing to deploy to Afghanistan lest he kill fellow Muslims to plotting a terror attack to kill fellow Americans — make perfect sense and accord well with Islam’s dichotomous doctrine of wala wa bara, often translated as “loyalty and enmity.”
Built atop numerous Koran verses and backed by Sharia, wala requires Muslims to be loyal to fellow Muslims, and explains why Abdo refused to deploy to Muslim nations.
While loyalty may appear admirable, it has a flipside, bara, which requires Muslims to disassociate themselves from non-Muslims — to be disloyal to them (see al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri’s 60 page treatise titled “Loyalty and Enmity” in The Al Qaeda Reader for details).
For example, Koran 5:51 literally warns Muslims against “taking the Jews and Christians as friends and allies … whoever among you takes them for friends and allies, he is surely one of them,” i.e., he becomes an infidel; 58:22 states that true Muslims do not befriend non-Muslims — “even if they be their fathers, sons, brothers, or kin.”
Now consider the progress of Abdo and how his actions reveal great doctrinal consistency:
First, he objected to participating in any war in any Muslim country, claiming “conscientious objector” status:
I don’t believe I can involve myself in an army that wages war against Muslims. I don’t believe I could sleep at night if I take part, in any way, in the killing of a Muslim. … I can’t deploy with my unit to Afghanistan and participate in the war — I can’t both deploy and be a Muslim.
He would not be the first to object to combating fellow Muslims: Major Nidal Hasan, who went on a shooting spree in Fort Hood in 2009, killing thirteen —and who Abdo heroizes — considered himself to be “a Muslim first and an American second”; the idea of deploying to a Muslim nation, his “worst nightmare,” threw him “over the edge.” Then there was Sergeant Hasan Akbar, who killed two American soldiers and wounded fourteen in Kuwait “because he was concerned U.S. troops would kill fellow Muslims in Iraq.”
Next, though Abdo had no problem openly evincing loyalty to Muslims, trusting that tolerant or sentimental Americans would indulge him, he hid his enmity and disloyalty for those same Americans, in accordance to taqiyya — a doctrine that permits Muslims to deceive infidels. In fact, the Koran’s primary justification for deception is in the context of “loyalty and enmity”:
Let believers not take for friends and allies infidels [non-Muslims] instead of believers. Whoever does this shall have no relationship left with Allah — unless you but guard yourselves against them, taking precautions (3:28).
Mainstream Muslim reference Tabari interprets this verse thusly:
Only when you are in their [non-Muslims’] power, fearing for yourselves, are you to demonstrate friendship for them with your tongues, while harboring hostility toward them. But do not join them in the particulars of their infidelities, and do not aid them through any action against a Muslim.
I think of most Muslims like I think of most Communists, Progressives, Fascists, Socialists, or Nazis.
The essential for understanding the scale of the threat Islam represents to our democratic republic, our culture and our economy is recognition that it is not a faith that offers options – it is an implacable Theology. One believes absolutely that Islam is not just the only religion but the only Ruler, otherwise one is worse than an infidel – an apostate, who the Koran states, unequivocally. must be killed. Islam trumps all patriotism. Wala wa bara is why we hear no objections from “moderate” muslims to jihadist terror attacks. To criticize fundamentalists would place your afterlife in jeopardy on the Great Day of Judgement. Toadying to assertive Islamic organizations, whose whole strategy for world hegemony is based on taking advantage of our Western heritage of “Enlightenment”. is fatally anti-productive. It simply inflames the contempt for “weak horses”, cultures that are so lacking in belief in the faith of their fathers and the rule of freedom that they are truly like sheep to the slaughter, bowing and baing to those who openly announce their intention to slit their throats.
Islam admits no compromise. Its core principle is absolute, unquestioning obedience. Its precepts and principles are primitive, pre-Magna Carta, rejected by western thinkers and rulers for over 1500 years. It is unassimilible. While your neighborhood motel owner is unlikely to kill you anytime soon, at least 15% of muslims openly support jihad and Sharia. If there are a mere ten million in the U.S., that means there are only 1,500,000 radical believers actively engaging in, or lending support to, “Death to the Infidels.” So what’s to worry?
This is a volunteer Army; there should be no conscientious objector status. Any military member who claims their loyalty to Islam over America is in violation of their oath, and should be put on restricted status and made to pay back the cost of their training, and then be summarily drummed out of the Armed Forces. Any military member found plotting to kill fellow military members should be summarily shot.

A sentence of death may be adjudged by a court-martial for an offense under this section (article) only if the members unanimously find, beyond a reasonable doubt, one or more of the following aggravating factors:
(1) The accused has been convicted of another offense involving espionage or treason for which either a sentence of death or imprisonment for life was authorized by statute.
(2) In the commission of the offense, the accused knowingly created a grave risk of substantial damage to the national security.
(3) In the commission of the offense, the accused knowingly created a grave risk of death to another person.
There is a reason so strong a penalty is advocated by the UCMJ. A soldier must be able to trust his comrades in arms. It is paramount to mission success. Violations of that trust are especially grave when said soldier is plotting to murder his fellow soldiers. A strong example must be sent. It should have been sent with Hasan Ackbar. While Ackbar is set to die, it is 2010 and few have recollection of his 2003 crimes. Nidal Hasan’s trial won’t start until 2012. The sympathetic media will try and burry the story, and like Ackbar, you won’t hear anything about his trial.
This has to end. How many more soldiers have to die for us to get the message? How many more infiltrators are going to join the U.S. Military and then attempt to divide the military with their antics, at best, or murder dozens of servicemen at worst? I say put all three of these turkeys against a wall and publically execute them. We’d get no better treatment by their allies.

But really, how could it be otherwise, given that Islam decrees that Muslims may have no loyalty but Islam? And given that, how can Army recruiters remain blind to the betrayal of their trust involved in enlisting a Muslim in the armed forces of the United States?

Is the army recruiter permitted to refuse a recruit, based on ‘religion’? I don’t know military law or procedure…if not, he should be. Freedom is fraught with the possibilities of danger, isn’t it? How could accepting a Muslim recruit ever be ‘safe’, in these times?
A recruiter could reject a person for the reason that they cannot swear loyalty to the US or be deployed to a Muslim country. This would not be religious discrimination. NO Muslim should be allowed in uniform, either in the armed services, police forces, National Guard, border agents, TSA, political office, etc.
In effect, while westerners insist on imposing a western, freedom based value system upon a 7th century Islamic driven political, religious doctrine, they endanger ALL free people, including non believing Muslims!

We are held hostage by our humanity. We want to believe in the original goodness of others. When we meet someone, we grant them the civilized benefit of the doubt, and we find it abhorrent that we would have to break this cultural norm with prejudice. But pre-judging is incumbent upon all who wish to defend the West from Islam… for anyone who has accepted that particular faith MAY BE untrustworthy at the deepest level imaginable. And yet it is that “may be” which holds us back, and makes us vulnerable. It is a vulnerability we have cherished, as in our willingness to let some criminals go free for the sake of adherence to a system that requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Islam challenges us to break with our Western tradition of civilized behavior toward other civilized people, by forcing us to recognize that some of our fellows are not so civilized as we. Islam is designed to take advantage of our weakness. The real challenge for us is to find a way to defend ourselves from the uncivilized, without losing what keeps us civilized.
The fruit-loop left loves to throw “Japanese internment camps” in our face like it’s the perfect parallel. First, it was FDR who signed the internment camp act into law and also, for some odd reason, there were a great many Japanese-Americans who ended up serving as soldiers in the Pacific in WWII. Talk about an inconsistency. However, given that times were different and that said soldiers took and oath to the US and fought bravely and heroically, the subject became a moot argument, although the internment camp issue continued to ride a nice wave of 1960′s style anger into the next century.
But the muslim issue strikes me as very different. With mounting evidence worldwide of their immigration to other countries and then usurping that country’s laws and customs, it would appear that they are all on the same page as regards the destruction of Western culture and society. The fact that the MSM doesn’t report on it doesn’t mean it’s not happening, much as they would have you believe that.
Also, the socialists in power all over the globe have found it useful to co-opt muslims in the destruction of capitalism by letting it undermine the system as it is. When they feel it’s gotten bad enough, they can step in with draconian laws and measures to get the people back in line, thus making it “fair” for everyone. But when the hammer falls, the first to get mass-murdered will be the muslims. That is, when their useful idiot-ness is satisfied.
Much as I would love to see the end to the muslim “religion”, it’s obvious to me what the socialists are doing. And, from a socialist point-of-view, say…like in Hiltery Clinton’s mind, it’s “What could possibly go wrong?”. The fact that the muslims will come for people like her FIRST is of no consequence because she’s playing the same game of deception with them as they do with us. Only she’s certain she will win with her socialist buddies and the muslims figure they will win. So right now, it’s the first few steps of a curious dance. But in reality, it’s playing with fire and a very dangerous thing to engage.
To say that the socialists are making it worse for all freedom-loving people is to say water is wet. But since right now their goals are the same, to oppress the free, they can at least work together to get some things done in the first stages. Some time later, the cover will have to come off and WW III will happen and then the socialists will call upon us to wipe out the muslims, which we will happily accommodate, if we feel our freedoms are sufficiently threatened. Once complete, if that’s at all possible, the socialists will then call us home and install their version of oppression.
However, so far, things don’t seem to be working out the way they planned. (do they ever?) What with muslims causing trouble even more now than they did in decades past, hatred of the muslim “faith” is growing, while simultaneously, hatred for the US by the ignorant, poorly educated, oppressed sand-people is also growing. And, just as a note – and it doesn’t excuse the internment per se – there actually were a large number of spy rings among Japanese Americans, and given the racial factor, these were very hard to penetrate at the time.
Liberals, Japanese interest groups like the Japanese-American Citizens League (which according to contemporary newspaper accounts was begging the U.S. government to protect Japanese from the rising number of attacks against them immediately after Pearl Harbor), and individual internees—particularly as people who actually were adults prior to and during WWII and who knew better, and could have told of a different reality have died off–have had a field day in presenting their own alternative reality, in which the totally innocent and loyal Japanese were the victims of a fascist government which herded them into “concentration camps,” solely because of “racist” motives, but things were not so unjustified, or so black and white as they have been portrayed as being.
Prior to and after Pearl Harbor (remember, most of our Pacific fleet had just been destroyed at Pearl Harbor, and we were reeling from defeat after defeat at the hands of the Japanese–this mental atmosphere has to be factored in here) agencies of the U.S. government—the FBI and military intelligence among them–had been getting information from a number of sources that indicated that there were, indeed, Japanese who were spying for Japan and loyal to it.
As a matter of fact, prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor the U.S. had cracked the Japanese “Red” and “Purple” diplomatic codes (the MAGIC documents), and the Japanese Embassy in Washington was telling the Imperial government in Tokyo that they had, in fact, established spy rings in the U.S., and were sending Tokyo things like lists giving the day-to-day disposition of our ships at Pearl Harbor, and the Embassy imprudently wired Tokyo that at least one Japanese spy, who was a military officer posing as a civilian, packed his bags, destroyed all material, and left for Japan just before Pearl Harbor.
I suspect that, if the truth were known, a lot of other information on Japanese spying and other actions that formed the basis for Democrat FDR’s decision to impose Internment lies in dusty files and could be turned up. But, it is was not in the interests of U.S. post-WWII foreign policy (i.e. we needed a pacified occupied Japan and, then, Japan as an ally and staging ground for the Korean War, and then as a base in the Cold War) to go back and to investigate Japanese activities prior to and during WWII too closely and to stir things up.
Then, there was the ultra-rightist, pro-Imperial Japanese Black Dragon Society, and the propaganda material it published that was influential among Japanese in the U.S. and Hawaii; it was closed down at the beginning of the war.
It did not get much publicity, but on the day of Pearl Harbor, one Japanese Zero pilot ditched his plane on a small Hawaiian island and tried to get a rebellion started among the Japanese who lived there that was only stopped when some Japanese loyal to the U.S. shot him.
Generally, internment was only for those Japanese on the coasts in the designated Exclusion Zone and not for Japanese in Hawaii, and if you moved inland or lived there you were not usually interned. Internment was not home, and not voluntary, was very uncomfortable, and people did lose their houses and businesses, but “relocation centers” were not “concentration camps,” there was no forced labor, students were released from camps to continue college, internees were given better food and medical care than the average American, some internees were released during the course of the war, and every attempt was made to give as full a semblance of normal life as possible—for instance, grade and high school with all of the usual activities and clubs continued for children. However, when Japanese internees were given loyalty questionnaires to fill out, several thousand said they were loyal to the Emperor. Many of these loyalist Japanese were exchanged with Japan early in the war, but those who remained were put in a special high security camp and were an unending source of trouble—beatings (of Japanese who they doubted were as loyal to the Emperor and Japan as they should be), riots, attempted escapes that kept this high security internment camp in constant turmoil.
None of the information that would spoil the “narrative” ever made it into the news or into the deliberations about “reparations” and, in the end, each and every Internee (or their heirs)—and many tens of thousands of the Internees were not citizens of the U.S. but were Japanese citizens–and also those Japanese who were loyal to Japan—each got $20,000 in reparations from the U.S. government.

Really? It has always been my understanding that most Japanese-Americans who served in the US Armed Forces in WWII operated in Europe, not the Pacific. Senator Inouye, for instance, who won the Medal of Honor, served in Europe, not the Pacific.

The most notable was the 442nd RCT (Regimental Combat Team), deployed in Italy, iirc. aka the Go For Broke bunch. Don’t have references ready to hand but at least some native japanese speakers were assigned to duty in the Pacific for obvious reasons.

Entitlements offered by élites to individuals they view as their poor, inept inferiors (aka “needy Americans”) should be soundly and roundly rejected by anyone wishing to retain his or her own self-respect.
That’s a good way to reflect a plausible priority sequence of loyalties, and keep in mind that assimilation is ultimately more important than immigration.
On the other hand, there is he appearance of a “guilty before proven innocent” angle in this recognition, which offers an easy line of rhetorical attack by the apologists of jihad. As Dennis Prager argues in his recent column in the Mational Review online, if Islam is ever going to reform itself, it will be in a great part thanks to the courageous contributions of muslim Americans, a class we cannot reject a priori.
Be cautious, don’t be naive, but don’t slam the doors leading to the potential for positive developments, just because the obstacles are quite substantial.

Um, how did this guy even GET into the Army? I assume somebody talked to this guy when he was recruited. After all, this is an all-volunteer force. You have to VOLUNTEER to go into the Army. So, with two wars going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention possible major wars brewing in Libya and Yemen, what did he think was going to happen? But, aside from that, if you really are a conscientious objector (as he claimed to be), why join the Army at all? And if you really are a conscientious objector, why would anyone want to recruit you? This all sounds very strange and the Army really should open up an investigation on how Abdo got into the Army in the first place.
Can you say “mole”? An obvious plant. An investigation of the recruiter would be highly recommended. Maybe the military needs to review the entire recruiting process.
Here’s a nightmare scenario: A muslim enlists in the Navy, becomes a nuclear machinist mate. Sabatoges a submarine or Carrier reactor in port. I have no faith in the “PC” pentagon any longer.

“True Muslims do not befriend non-Muslims” It is probably true that many Muslims believe this (judging from the way they treat non-Muslims). When liberals, however, point to the Muslims who befriend non-Muslims they conveniently fail to recognize that these are often those who are not particularly interested in being religious. Their actions are contrary to the main tenets of the Koran. My son was a boarder with the family of an Iranian as a post-graduate student. He noticed how young Muslims, who seemed to be so enlightened and moderate, fully embraced the ways/views of their parents/grandparents when they got married and started raising children. They considered themselves as “true Muslims.”
True Muslims are simply consistently following the Koran. In contrast the True Jew strives to follow the clear teaching of the Torah (Leviticus 19:34): “The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.” In contrast the True Christian strives to follow the teaching of Jesus (Luke 6:27-28) “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” The command to love the foreigner/enemy is totally absent in the Koran.

Being totally honest, the foreigner who dwelt within the set-apart boundaries of Israel were also called upon for live a life of Torah observance rather than pagan worship. In the same manner, “Christians” were called upon to shake the dust from their feet and depart from the non-believers.
As such, it becomes a manner of confluence in today’s America just how far and how rigid we hold to Judeo-Christian values in regards to our laws and practices… how hard do we push our lifestyles into society? “Give unto Caesar…” becomes a balancing act between individual “uprightness” and societal norms. “Freedom” remains individual only as far as the law provides opportunity to act out those freedoms.
Islam seeks to take those freedoms away.
ok im trying to understand what your post is about? so the fact that islam is activly trying to destroy anyone not muslim, or enslave them, or rapes women, or kills children etc. that falls under simple religious freedom? there is a slight difference in the torah and koran when the koran and its followers are trying to kill you.

What I hoped to indicate is that a Jew who seeks to follow the teachings of the Torah with regard to the “foreigner” or a Christian who seeks to follow the teachings of Christ with regard to his “enemy” have no need to resort to violent actions. However, the Muslim who seeks to follow the teachings of the Koran is obliged to resort to violence as Muhammad would have against those he viewed as unbelievers, and so is quite consistent when seeking to undermine non-Muslim authorities and governments. That is why no Muslim countries give Jews and Christians the same religious freedom and equality before the law that they enjoy in non Muslim countries. While a few Muslim countries have legislation supposed to ensure this religious freedom and equality, in practise the Koran and Islamists trump this legislation e.g. in Egypt.
Since we have a “volunteer” military, all inductees need a background check. This background check would involve religious activities and mental problems. This whole problem could be avoided at the recruitment level. All muslims could be given CO status and immediately “retired” if qualified for retirement.
America is caught on the horns of a dilemma when it comes to her Muslim citizens. We are told constantly that the majority of Muslims in America are loyal to the country and want only to live in peace, no less by Muslims themselves. And yet, Islam makes provision for lying and deceiving non-Muslims about this very thing. So how can we trust any Muslim, how can we know that they’re telling us the truth?
This is a real problem.
It is possible to be both devout and talk of “Islam is peace” on the one hand and to be a deceptive jihadist on the other because Islam has a system of situational ethics enshrined in holy writ.
This differs from Christianity in that the Islamic system of sitational ethics is the “divine” standard of behavior. In contrast, in Christianity, the ideal and unchanging system of ethics embodied in the New Testament is the divine standard which is then modified by tradtion. Think of the famous “just war” doctrine of St. Augustine as a prime example. In effect, the Christian has solid ground to stand on from which at times we are driven by circumstances beyond our control and to which we can return. In Islam, all is as shifting sand. Everything is based on what the situation is. So in one situation, the devout Muslim can be the soul of peace, but change that situation and he can become the murderous renegade in our midst.
The sad thing is that of all the “peaceful” Muslims among us, how many are peaceful only because of their current situation? How many would behave entirely differently if the situation in their view changed?
Yeah, American elite boutique multiculturalism is great when you can be a Zen Buddist today, a Hindu tomorrow, a Rastafarian for thanksgiving, and an atheist for Christmas and still get presents; happy holiday! Oops. Sheet, Islam doesn’t play that way, do it?

They are violent and lying people who do want to kill you…who do want to rape your infidel woman…who do want to impose islam on you or destroy you. The last thing in the world I want to do is take anyone’s religion away from them. If it’s a source of comfort and helps explain the world, then great.
However, and here comes the big “BUT”: I can’t find anything in Islam that practices the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
Islam is all about how to do differently toward Muslims than you do toward non-Muslims, and I’m sorry, that’s just not right.
We have proof every day in both word and deed of Islam’s intentions. You would have to be brain-dead not to know the extreme danger of this cancer in our midst. We need to protest, march, send loud messages to our govt. and the press who are leading us to an abyss. Everywhere there is Islam in the world there is war, torture and no human rights. The most important thing we have is our freedom, and in Islam there is no freedom. When Iran gets nuclear weapons, (and exports them to their terrorist networks) we’re all doomed.
This (nuclear strike) was predicted in a book I read around 15 years ago called “Set the Trumpet to thy Mouth” by David Wilkerson, and I thought it was nuts. It said that the US would not even be viable in the end because there would be a great holocaust following an economic collapse. It’s just a matter of time and the muslim problem is just part of the puzzle.
The sad thing is this doctrine may mean that no observant Muslim is qualified for any position of trust in the United States, including serving on a jury or giving testimony in court. This is an old issue that was considered slander, as Catholics, Jews, Americans with Japanese ancestors, and others were (by some) automatically considered suspect because it was believed their loyalties, and even their sworn words, could not be trusted. These unfairly questioned people fought long and hard to disprove this slander, denouncing those in their midst as well as foreign spokesmen who demanded loyalty to their religion over loyalty to their country and even loyalty to honesty.
Will American Muslims rise up to denounce this evident doctrine of duplicity? Can they be believed if they do? Or should Muslims be interred like Americans with Japanese ancestry were? We were wrong about those interred during WWII; what about those related to our current mortal enemies?
How sad that people would be subjected by co-religionists to being doubted by the society at large. How unfair.

If Muslims are true believers in the idea that they must work to destroy anyone who is not Muslim, they could not take the required oaths for the military. They should never be considered for the military. Any laws about descrimination should be void. All court cases regarding being taken from planes (like the several Mullahs taken from a plane in Phoenix) should just be thrown out. They do this to themselves because of their beliefs. They can freely practice their religion as long as they don’t infringe on the freedom of others to exist. The Muslims who currentrly serve in Congress should be out. The oath that they took when sworn in was perjury. To my knowledge, no other religion requires allegiance surpassing that shown to the United States.
I can’t help but notice how Abdo’s use of his tongue to feign goodwill towards America seems to align with Imam Rauf’s profession of the same in his reasons for erecting a Ground Zero mosque.
I’ve heard it said many times that Islam is not only a religion, but also a cultural and political system. If so, then doesn’t it provide a solution to this mess? When I served in the military (’70s Marine) there were restrictions on what type of associa-
tions we could have. For example, we could not be members of either the Communist party nor the John Birch group. As these were POLITICAL affiliations there was no question of religious exclusion. Additionally, one could not be an open member of of the KKK (for obvious reasons). As this was a CULTURAL affiliation, there too, there was no religious discrim-
ination. Could not the military use this as exclusionary? After all, as so many others have pointed out, the US military is a volunteer organization.
For the same reason Muslim immigration should be halted or at least carefully vetted as to whether a resident alien Muslim swears to uphold our Constitution over Sharia Law. Arab Spring is creating an entire new wave of Arab refugees, washing up into Europe and likely into the United States.
I do not think that we need more Muslims inside our nation. Even if not radicalized yet, there is a high probablility that they or their offspring will take the Quran seriously and spring up like Trojan horse infiltrators. Fellow travelers, like Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan should be subpoened to testify before a revived HUAC and prosecuted for sedition.
The problem here is that with Muslim’s religiously sanctioned “Holy Deceptions” of Takiyya (lying) and Kitman (withholding key elements of the truth) in play, a Muslim can swear to any oath or affirmation on a mile-high stack of Bibles or Qur’ans and still be lying. Given the total undermining and destruction of basic trust that these doctrines accomplish, there is just no way that such trust in what a Muslim says or swears to can ever be assured. Remember, this is not me claiming that Muslims are lying and never tell the truth to us “unbelievers,” this is Islamic doctrine, two of the three foundational books of Islam–the Qur’an and the Hadiths–telling and sometimes commanding Muslims to lie and to withhold key information in all their dealings with us “unbelievers” if doing so will protect or advance the cause of a Muslim or of Islam.
So, believing that by having a Muslim swear to or to sign an oath, you have a reasonable chance of determining and assuring that he is loyal to the U.S. and to its Constitution and government, is a fundamental and fatal error, and the most dangerous kind of wishful thinking.
When will western polititians get the message, it isn’t individual muslims that is the problem it is islam is the problem, here in UK we are utterly sick of polititians telling us that it is a peaceful religion when almost every day the news contains another atrocity committed by “faithful” muslims
America needs to find lawyers who will challenge Islam in our courts to strip this evil and vile political system of its religious protections under our First Amendment. For example, not all religions are a protected class under the Constitution. For example, religions that practice polygamy, animal and human sacrifices, and rape ceremonies, are not lawful. Likewise, Islam wich mandates the murder of apostates and adulterers is not lawful. Other Islamic practices that violate the Bill of Rights and Constitution include: inhumane punishments by the severing of a limb for theft, discrimination of women, and pedophilia. Communities need to stand up to the Justice Department and stop the construction of Mosques by challenging the very essence of Islam as a protected religion in our courts. Put the Koran and its associated books ( Hadith) on trial. Are there no lawyers in America who can rise to this challenge?
Ominous News on Our Doorstep, on Our Horizon
There was a time in America in the not very distant past when things were very different.
Just a few decades ago, we were respected in the international community, rarely loved, sometimes hated, but usually respected. There was a time when America had a secure border which defined us as a nation, when we felt free to voice our opinions without being condemned as bigots, when government functioned in the interests of the governed, a time when we were a free and sovereign nation not subject to the vagaries and enmities of the 191 other countries in the United Nations.
That time and those times are long past and not solely because of a single political party or one politician, although our current president has far outdone the others, busily undermining not only our economy but everything the United States of America has stood for, starting with our status as a country worthy of respect.
Last Thursday we saw a vivid example of international disrespect that would never have occurred in the past: A contingent of of Mexico’s Secretaria de Seguridad Publica federal police force perpetrated an incursion onto American soil not seen since the insolence of Santa Anna during the Mexican War.
Santa Anna was crushed in the battle of San Jacinto but last week Mexican forces showed their contempt for that American victory and for the American nation.
An El Paso witness reported that Mexican police fired at American hunters on the U.S. side of the Rio Grande and other Mexicans followed that attack “with automatic weapons into the U.S. side . . . stole hunters’ chairs and drove back into Mexico.”
Our authorities are investigating the incident but aside from the theft of a few chairs, will they investigate the temerity of Mexicans invading our nation? Not likely, since we have already granted carte blanche to them and everyone else to violate our borders, thumb their noses at the United States–and steal our chairs.
Almost worse, some Americans are now so terrified of political incorrectness that they have sacrificed lives on the PC altar.
Former-Democrat, now Independent, always-liberal Connecticut’s Senator Joe Lieberman has offered the very valid opinion that had it not been for fear of being labeled prejudiced Muslim Major Nidal Hasan wouldn’t have been able to kill and maim innocent people at Fort Hood in 2009. . .
