Its interesting to see how badly things turned out and its too bad neither party seems capable of putting up the best people. I think the people who can really turn this country around don't even bother with politics.

i totally agree with 93 The ACTING president is proven to be the TELEPROMPTER president.

It’s only when his teleprompter buddy is unplugged does the real dunderhead show up. No wonder there was no presser with Brown.

To SFC Cheryl McElroy: Are you some kind of an idiot or what? I was in Iraq and the crappy links you pasted in your blog equate to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Any country in the world has those same grades of chemicals and seeds...THEY ARE NOT WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! Is that what you learned after being in the Army for so long? Again, THEY ARE NOT WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! The invasion of Irag was unconstitutional...case closed!

So, this is where all of the bitter, bible hugging, gun totting bigots and haters of America hang out at huh? I have never read so many bitter, hateful comments on a blog than this one. It seems to be filled with racism and sore losers. Sore losers because your stupid and idiotic party didn't have the good sense to pick a better presidential candidate than McCain and that racist Palin? John McCain? That's what you come up with after 8 years of the crimnal administration of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld? What an assorted corral of lunatics the GOP is. Limbaugh? Cheney? Hannity? Coulter, Palin, O'Reilly, Oh Really? There's a book named: Right Is Wrong: How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America, Shredded the Constitution, and Made Us All Less Safe (Hardcover)by Arianna Huffington. Everyone on this psychotic blog should read a chapter every night before you lay your empty heads down at night!

I see that Mountain Jack has, as have so many people, Arithmetic Deficit Disorder. Just as Nancy Pelosi does, who obviously can't tell the difference between a thousand and a million. The numbers being thrown around have even me reverting to scientific notation, to comprhend the magnitude of these absurd projections.

Hey Frank:

You need to get beaten with a big clue bat. Here it is:

The 'Bush lied' mantra of you leftwingnuts is hackneyed and has been debunked. Repeatedly.

We DID find WMDs:

1) Declassified NGIC report:
http://www.foxnews.com/projects/pdf/Iraq_WMD_Declassified.pdf

2) 1.77 metric tons of enriched uranium: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/3872201.stm

3) 1,500 gallons of chemical weapons agents:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/13/AR2005081300530.html

4) Last major stockpile from Saddam's nuclear efforts arrives in Canada
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25546334/

I am an Iraq War veteran, and I'm damned glad we found those weapons before they could be used.

Saddam was a WMD weilding megalomaniac and a threat to U.S. forces in the region.

Since you’re so wrapped around the axle over body counts, where’s your hissy fit over the millions of lives taken by the Islamofascist zealots we're fighting against?

We did kill alot of bad guys (READ al Qaeda and Taliban) in Iraq and Afghanistan. Don’t expect me to lose sleep over it either, sweetpea. The trouble with you selective anti-war types, is you're only pissed about body counts when we're fighting hostile countires you don't deem as enemies. You also have less of a problem with Islamofasicts than what it takes to stop them. That seems to be a common thread with you Lefties. 9/11 didn't hit close enough to your own back yard.

Get a grip as to why Iraq and Afghanistan are so crucial in the opening volley of retaliation against terrorists where they live and breed. Terrorists are bred, trained, indoctrinated, funded, and supported across the Middle East. They manufacture jihadists like god damned assembly line parts. This war ain’t over by a long shot.
The very least our victories in Iraq and Afghanistan have accomplished, is sending a message to the muslim f**ksticks who want to subjugate Western Civilization to a brutal Caliphate: We will hit back.

If it were up to me, several Islamic nation-states would have been carpet-bombed into asphalt parking lots. That is how you fight a war. But I was a Soldier, not a diplomat.

Oh yeah, and about your Obamessiah:

Bush did what he had to do to to strike back against Islamic terrorists and keep this country safe during the remainder of his tenure. He did a damned good job. Don't expect much from B. Hussein (aka "negotiate without preconditions")Obama.

He launched his career from the home of two domestic terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, and collaborates with radical groups like ACORN under the guise of "community organizing". He sat in a church for over 20 years listening to the sermons of a rabid moonbat who "god-damned" America and railed against "whitey" and Jews.

Some of the world's worst dictators and Islamic goons are head over heels for him. He accumulated Frank Marshall Davis, Saul Alinsky, Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Amahdinejad, Louis Farrakhan, Daniel Ortega, Jeremiah Wright, the Arab-American Action network, CAIR, and Hamas among his associates, admirers, supporters, and mentors. He's a human bug light for despots, terrorists, and hate spewers. No wonder the Islamic extremists salivated for a 'change' they can believe in.

Just a preview of coming attractions:

Obama and his Democrat majority will increase taxes and spending. They will carry out their threat to take money from taxpayers and give money to those who do not pay taxes, let alone work. The trillion dollars he plans on spending will be a drop in the bucket before he's through.
It won't take long before the economy collapses completely.

The Eurotrash, NorthKorea, China, Venezuela, and Islamic comrades (Iran, in particular) are rejoicing in this latest tragicomic episode in American politics. We are now saddled with a corrupt, socialist, terrorist cavorting, narcissistic charlatan, who suits their agenda. Obamabots placed all of their faith and adoration into an empty suit with serious defects.

Obama will kowtow to all of the world's malefactors, fulfilling his promise to 'reach out'. To those who foolishly believe that being a pliant doormat will somehow make the United States a more "moral, respected, endearing, popular, positive role model", brace yourselves.
It will only serve to encourage hostile nations, Islamic ones in particular, to take advantage of a deteriorated American political and economic system, rife with Democratic milksops.
This, of course, is supposed to improve our 'world image'. If you think Clinton's non-response to the numerous terrorist attacks on his watch gave al Qaeda the green light, Obama will be in the control tower giving the okay for take off.

B. Hussein Obama doesn't have your back, sweetpea. Try another part of your anatomy.

What are you kidding me?
Two months, two months the President has been in office and you demand immediate perfection. Where were you when motive-less Bush raided Iraq and had more than 4,000 of our young military killed and thousands more permanently injured? Where were you when Cheney cleverly worked President Bush’s strings and lied about WMD and and stole (Halliburton’s bid free billion dollar war contracts) and committed treason (revealing the name of a secret CIA worker)? And gave the rich the biggest tax break bonanza in history? And approved torture of the worst kind, lied about it and then placed American prisoners in harm’s way? Approved violations of intrusion in our lives without a legal warrant? When President Bush took more vacation time off than any previous President? And you want me to take your thoughts seriously when physical features and characteristics form the bais of your negative rhetoric? Please!! You see I believe we are our brothers’ keeper, I believe that no one should be sick because they are too poor to have insurance, I believe that evey child should have an equal educational opportunity regardless of their zip code, I believe that mere companionship does not cause patriotism to rub off (the way the old Sen. McCarthy and HUAC did). No sir, don’t try to convince me that you naysayers and shoot from the hip folks have my country’s best interests at heart. Your ideas are ugly, your rhetoric too pat , your vision for America’s future too narrow and negative. I’ll stick with President Obama’s vision (the candidate I supported with my vote and my dollars) and feel comfort tonight as I go to sleep knowing that tomorrow my neighbor will not be illegally spied upon by my government, that the President is doing his best to manage a long in the making mess, and that Barack Obama has my back. And even though you did not and do not support him, that’s okay, you can rest easy too.
