5 Ways Muslims Have Contributed to ‘Building the Very Fabric of Our Nation’

Why did Columbus set sail? Because the fall of Constantinople to Jihadists in 1453 closed the trade routes to the East.

Last Sunday, in his message congratulating Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, Barack Obama wrote: “Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.” That’s right: he said “many achievements and contributions.” I could only think of five. Maybe you will be able to think of some more.

5. Getting us here in the first place

This one predates the United States as a nation, but without it, the United States would not exist. Every schoolchild knows, or used to know, that in 1492 Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue and discovered America while searching for a new, westward sea route to Asia. But why was he searching for a new route to Asia? Because the fall of Constantinople to the Muslims in 1453 closed the trade routes to the East. This was devastating for European tradesmen, who had until then traveled to Asia for spices and other goods by land. Columbus’s voyage was trying to ease the plight of these merchants by bypassing the Muslims altogether and making it possible for Europeans to reach India by sea.

So the bellicosity and intransigence of Islam ultimately opened the Americas for Europe – and made the United States possible.

This was an amusingly pointed article showing, as Churchill said, that Islam is the most retrograde force in the world. The one statement I vigorously object to though is that the Bible "condones" slavery. This could not be further from the truth.

The Bible recognizes slavery throughout, but only because it is the natural condition of man. Everyone is a slave, whether it is literal economic slavery or slavery to one's sin; it is the human condition.

The great theme of the Bible is actually deliverance from slavery. It makes no bones about the fact that it is a very difficult and costly process that a mere Emancipation Proclamation cannot bring genuinely to pass. The Exodus alone should serve as an enormously instructive affirmation of this.

Christianity is profoundly about the achieving of real freedom, materially and spiritually. It is the absolute antithesis of Islam.

How true the White man did not take slavery to Africa he went there and found a flourishing Black on Black and Arab/Muslim run slave trade. Barry Soetero with his Kenyan Fathers ARABIC ancestry has closer ties to MUSLIM SLAVE TRADERS than to the African American descendants of SLAVES.
A point to note is that despite all the WHITES efforts to eliminate slavery from the world it is STILL flourishing today with BLACK on BLACK slavery TRIBAL VIOLENCE and MUSLIM Slave Traders still plying their evil trade.

6. Training our armed forces to be on the lookout for Catholics, Mormons, Evangelicals and Orthodox Jews as "terrorist" suspects.

7. Learning how to be a turncoat to our closest ally. This is especially helpful when making secret deals, bypassing Congress and practicing the art of taqqiya against our own citizenry.

8. Jailing political prisoners on false and trumped up charges for the sin of free speech which "insults" Islam. Blaming that insult falsely for death and destruction. Notifying the media so that they can record the midnight arrest and perp walking of an innocent man.

9. The new rules of dissemination through our information stream. Holding tapes hostage, refusing to provide information so as not to offend the "host" country currently shouting "Death to America", and whitewashing universal Muslim human rights violations all give our "mainstream" media a new level of credibility heretofore unmatched by other state run and controlled propagandists.

10. The "Juan Williams" rule. You can BE alert for Muslim sleeper cells about to commit mass murder, you just can't SAY you're alert. Or else you risk being fired from the propagandist outlets in the paragraph above.

Interesting that you mention TSA. While the TSA does humiliate equally all Americans that fly, thanks to Obama, illegal alien invaders are being flown to Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands and other places on commercial airlines with no photo identification.

"Slavery is condoned in the Qur’an as well as the Bible"

In fairness, slavery as described in the Old Testament was more like what we would call indentured servitude: it was for a finite period (unless the slave chose to extend), and the slave was a human being with rights. The slave was not chattel as in Islamic, Roman or American slavery.

Not so. In the bible slavery was welfare. in the bible slavery was limited and controlled with the wellbeing of the slave in mind, not in the Quran.

Egyptians and other moderate Arab states maintain that since his initial Cairo speech in 2009, President Obama has emerged as a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood – the creator of Hamas – and which they regard, justifiably, as an Islamic fundamentalist terrorist organization.
Obama, as American president, is spearheading the Islamist March of jihad;
Across Iraq and Syria, midwife of ISSI, installing the Brotherhood in Egypt and
Libya, funding Hamas in Gaza...who would have dreamed that a dozen years after
911 that America would have an enemy in the
White House?

What happens when you put a goofy drawing of Jesus and Mohamed on the internet tells you all you need to know. Crickets for the first and riots and even death for the second.

I find one inaccuracy in this article. People are NOT treated equally by the TSA. Muslims in Burkas are able to pass through, without being searched.

We should remember that "the Fraud" is considered the Black Jesus by a very ignorant segment of our population ! They blindly believe his blather about Muslim" accomplishments" here in the USA - and how much he's done for them.

"Islam and the Discovery of Freedom," by Rose Wilder Lane is a worthwhile book. Lane was a patriot, and daughter of the author of the Little Home on the Prairie books.

This book was extracted from a larger work by Lane, "The Discovery of Freedom: Man's Struggle Against Authority," and published in a separate edition with many of Lane's errors corrected in a way she probably would have approved.
