Meanwhile, the Western media and U.S. government will stand by and not comprehend a fundamental transformation unfolding before their eyes. Or will they comprehend it but think that it is a good thing? The first possibility is total incompetence and ideological blindness. The second possibility approaches the equivalent of criminal conduct in the destruction of U.S. interests, not to mention democracy, human rights, and the maintenance of peace.
Did I mention that the al-Mursi government is installing several Brotherhood leaders as provincial governors, members of the media council, and — yes, they do have a sense of humor — leaders of human rights commissions? And now al-Mursi is controlling what is going to be in Egypt’s new constitution, too.
Does this mean Egypt will ally with Iran? Only if Iran surrenders to the radical Sunni Islamism ruling every Arab state. Since Tehran will never agree, in the end Egypt will fight Iran for influence tooth and nail. The two anti-American countries will kill the others’ surrogates. But it means al-Mursi feels no friendlier toward America than he does toward Iran. And Cairo will not lift a finger to help Washington against Tehran unless by doing so the Egyptian Brotherhood advances its own cause of putting more Sunni Islamists (anti-Americans, of course) into power.
And right now that means Syria. Indeed, al-Mursi offered Iran a deal: give us Syria and we’ll help you escape isolation over the nuclear issue. Tehran will turn him down, no credit to U.S. policy. Al-Mursi is just asking too much.

This is somewhat provocative, but rational idea. I realize that it will create a lot of tension and even violence, but that violence is perhaps inevitable anyway. We are allowing the enemy to retain the initiative. We do just enough to manufacture reasons for their own leadership to cynically provoke their psychopaths when tactically and strategically beneficial to their causes.
If we overtly attack the ideology of Islam, we restore much of the control over the timeline by provoking most if not all of those who are awaiting the provocations of the enemy leadership. This is in addition to showing how we as a society tolerate intolerance and violence.
Instead, if we can’t explain it to the lowest common denominator in a twitter message our political leaders just stick with failed appeasement policies and tactics. This will only end when we the people become educated enough to drive our leaders in the correct direction.
We are Americans: we don’t sit around and wait for “the one” to show up. Those of us who have those tendencies need to be taught how erroneous this is.
We need to reach out to the middle. Each time we publish some comments, we ought to be speaking figuratively to those who simply have never seen enough evidence to know what many here do know (the nuanced truth about Islam and the West’s failure to react appropriate for our defense).
The further back in history one can go, the further inroads one can make from center in to left. Never assume that anyone is lost to the truth until they are literally dead. Don’t waste time on the difficult ones if you have a choice (teach the neutral uninitiated first when you have a choice).
Going back to the time before Constantine, one can explain how Paganism entered the most powerful “Christian” sect. When the printing press empowered the masses with clear facts, it was easy to destroy theocracy in the West, after some bloody wars. Martin Luther was not the first or the most righteous man to say the things that needed to be said about Catholicism and in fact Luther was not even clear about how far to go. He was in the right place at the right time to get credit for the role her served, but it was the time for the truth to reach a critical mass. The printing press facilitated that.
If Islam were to reform, it would have happened already. Mass communications only enable the evil-doers of Islam because evil is not condemned in Islamic texts, it is mandated. The Bible contains evil acts and condemns them. If God is attributed as the “source” of evil, that is only by removing his right to judge. If one reads the entire set of narratives contained in the Judeo Christian (or even leaving out the Christian texts), it is easy to see that Islam is the antithesis.
The West is a product of the Judeo Christian texts. Many others contributed because the texts called for this participation.
The Theory of Evolution, whether or not you accept it, was a major force to galvanize those who hate Judeo Christian ideology and blame it for all of societies ills. You just need to see all of the alternative philosophies that grew out of that period and the adherents those ideas gained. In reality, the political tensions in the West from them till today are all directly or indirectly connected to this.
With regard to external conflict, Islam was created in the Middle East as a reaction to a number of things, but the Paganism present in Catholicism provided a significant opening to the fantastic liars of Islam. Because these lies are encoded in the foundational texts, there is nothing to reform around. The Christian reformation was entirely about calling out the theocrats to justify their policies with respect to the source they claimed to empower them: the Bible. They could not. This circumstance can’t be replicated with Islam.
These suggestions provide a roadmap to the history knowledge required to teach that Islam is false, and that whether or not one believes in the God of the Bible, if you see any value in the West (assuming you’ve been taught the correct, comprehensive salient history), for example human rights as defined in the Bible and modified to placate non-believers as called for in the Bible, freedoms and justice as known in the West, then you have to understand that these ideas came from the Bible and that those who attack the Bible are doing so out of hate – not because they have any ideas that are clearly and demonstrably better. Put another way; the reactionaries started these attacks in the 8th and 19th centuries. All of the major contenders around the globe for replacing Western Liberal Democracy came from those reactionary movements.
It is very difficult to teach all of this to anyone who is totally ignorant. However, the more people we have that can teach some of it as needed, the more quickly we can arrive at a coherent plan or series of plans to proactively pursue the true nature of this evil. We have no reason to attack ideas, unless they are used to foment treason. We can’t compromise out standards for due process and justice, we therefore most do all of our fighting with persuasion and teaching of the true, salient facts of history.
It’s not easy. Not many are fully equipped to do this. Where to start, I don’t know how to offer more specific advice except this: If you are not very clear on these topics, it is time to become more patient and humble to pursue these answers, and patiently speak to those are can learn from you.
We need to be a lot more clear and patient when speaking about politics and not letting our anger lead to thoughtless quotes that make us easy to paint as irrational fear and hate driven warmongers. “Nuke ‘em!” It sounds good when you are really angry, but few would seriously want to take this advice without context, and liberals who are not fully educated about the salient facts of history will NOT even try to place any context with your quotes. Don’t work against justice by being so angry and impatient even if you “fee” you are speaking to friends. Vent your frustrations in private. This will prove you have self-control. Publishing maniacal quotes on the Internet proves their right to question that.
Stay calm and rational. Those who have the facts on their side are always better served by using them rationally. Stay patient and always remember that anyone and everyone can read what you publish. Don’t waste what little direct power you have.
Chris, what paganism? Belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and thus worshiping the Eucharist? That dates back to Apostolic times, is biblical, and was never condemned by any competent authority. Invocation of saints? Again, older than Constantine. he is a crackpot not because of my analysis of the film but because this guy is really suspicious. he tells people that he is an Israeli but in fact never quite says he is a citizen. A lot of people think he is lying. he claims that he has 100 Jews giving $5 million–an absurdity–and an antisemitic provocation. Is this to set off antisemitic attacks in the West (the violence against us is all the Jews’ fault) or to stir up so much violence as to try to get the US to intervene in Egypt? It is entirely wrong to allow these people to elect representatives that are against US interests. It would be better to arm and financially support pro-US murderous dictators (which we have been doing in that region for decades)than it would be to allow people to elect non-US friendly representatives.

Gentle reminder: Obama said a lot of good sounding stuff in 2008 leading up to the election. Stuff like not a red state America, not a blue state America, but a United States of America. It is fascinating how gullible the media and so many are in their willingness to immediately accept the story of this filmmaker as Sam Bacile an Israeli-American Jew with 100 Jewish donors. If you have access to a search engine for people, you will discover that there is no one who fits that name and age description in California. The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg says he contacted the film’s consultant who he says admitted Sam Bacile is a pseudonym. This has false flag written all over it. Now the administration is saying the Libyan embassy attack was a planned terrorist operation not a response to the film.
It is indeed a movie of bad quality but it tells the truth as described by Islamic sources. Are the islamothugs offended? Get a time machine and go and kill Ishaq! But, we know, everything offen the Muslims, even the history of his own prophet as told by themselves. Go figure!
