Israel: An Introduction

This comprehensive book provides a well-rounded introduction to Israel—a definitive account of the nation's past, its often controversial present, and much more. Edited by a leading historian of the Middle East, Israel is organized around six major themes: land and people, history, society, politics, economics, and culture. The book is a significant contribution to Israel publications, being one of the first books to ever fluidly consolidate and describe Israel as a modern State. Finally, Israel provides readers with a solid foundation of knowledge about the Jewish State and provides useful reference lists by topic for those inspired to read further.

During a conversation when they thought nobody was listening French President Nicolas Sarkozy and U.S. President Barack Obama said nasty things about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A lot of the analysis about what this tells us I think is rather misleading.

Regarding Sarkozy, French-Israel relations have been good and there have not been major problems with Sarkozy. On one hand, Sarkozy has been far friendlier to Israel than his Gaullist and Socialist predecessors. True, he is surrounded by some hostile advisors, including the career staff at the Foreign Ministry, but on the other hand there is a defense and counterterrorism establishment that admires Israel.

Indeed, Sarkozy helped kill the Palestinian unilateral independence effort in the UN Security Council, a major service to Israel. Yet France voted in favor of the Palesstinian entry into the UNESCO organization. Incidentally, Sarkozy has also not been a fan of Obama in the past.

Why suddenly has Sarkozy turned against Netanyahu? I can’t prove it but I think there is evidence for the following scenario. Sarkozy decided that he was going to broker a major deal at the UN, showing that France was a leading great power in the world. (A theme I think you have heard before is a major French goal.) So he went to Netanyahu with a proposal: Israel would accept unilateral independence for Palestine and Sarkozy would get Israel something from the Palestinians (perhaps recognition of a Jewish state?).

Netanyahu played along a bit but, of course, knew that Sarkozy wouldn’t get anything from the Palestinian Authority. Sarkozy’s idea — like that of virtually all the well-intentioned or bad-intentioned, naive or cynical, friendly or hostile to Israel busybodies who think they are going to make peace — just didn’t make real sense. At any rate, Sarkozy thought he had something from Israel that he didn’t. His UN speech implying he wanted to support unilateral independence was certainly bad from Israel’s standpoint.

The deal fell through — it was doomed from the start since the Palestinian Authority wouldn’t compromise — and, of course, he blamed Israel and not the Palestinians. Hence his fury that Netanyahu was a “liar.”

As for Obama, some have explained his remark about frustrations in dealing with Netanyahu every day as just going along with Sarkozy. Others claimed Obama’s remark was justified. This latter point is absurd. The truth is that Netanyahu has done everything Obama has asked while the PA has done nothing at all. If only there was a U.S. president who talked that way. But there’s more, apparently, to be gained by bashing Israel and coddling the PA in words.

Remember two things. First, U.S. policy has taken virtually no material action against Israel in terms of bilateral relations. The hostility is all words. Better nasty words and okay actions than the other way around.

“Ironically, Obama says that he is ashamed of past U.S. bullying and arrogance, its treatment of smaller countries. Often, however, that only seems to be true regarding countries hostile to the United States. The fact is that Israel’s existence is on the line and Obama is playing with that country’s fate.”

One, the difference between Confidence and Arrogance is Competence. The United States has the Competence…maybe the resident does not.
Two, what is the point of being a super power if you do not behave superly?
Our dear leader fails to see that when we cease to be super someone else will fill the void, if only by default.
Next, US bullying is largely a cause celeb of those whose oxes were gored by US policy. Tyrants are frequently complaining of being bullied. I haven’t heard much from free societies beyond the usual playground commercial contests.

Finally, Israel is our (US) best chance against Islam. Why? Israel probably understands it better than Muslims themselves. To repeat, Islam is the Problem. Islam needs a new narrative. Only Israel has the expertise (Language skills and understanding of local customs) to write the story. “Mohamed was captured and killed on the road from Mecca to Medina by the priests of Allah, the pagan Arabic moon goddess. Copies of documents were found in the bin Laden raid. Real Islam (Islam al Mecca) was supportive of positive fellowship with Jews and Christians. Phony Islam (Islam al Medina) is a twisted version of Mohamed’s teachings…”
Now, who will finish and publish the story? (I have the story, but am still working on English, much less ancient Arabic.)

    • Charlie Griffith

You’re doing just fine with your English….I’m hoping that you will finish and publish this story.

the problem isn’t Islam it’s how it’s been interpreted by the pack of Dark Age arabic-culture enthusiaists that control the clergy.

if that’s what you’re saying, more power to you, because that’s truth.

Sarkozy and Obama didn’t like the things Netanyahu was saying. Therefore, Netanyahu *had* to be a liar. Simple as that.

“Ironically, Obama says that he is ashamed of past U.S. bullying and arrogance, its treatment of smaller countries. Often, however, that only seems to be true regarding countries hostile to the United States.”

Yes, well, that’s because of how the lefties think, it’s entirely consistent. They think that if you’re stronger and someone weaker hates you it must be because you exploited and abused them. According to socialist logic you can’t be rich unless you exploit others and “steal” their “rightful” share, and you can’t be strong except at someone else’s expence. So being strong and rich is intself a proof of guilt, and being weak and poor is in itself a proof of innocence and righteousness because it’s the good people who don’t exploit and abuse others who remain poor and weak. Inequality is a crime in itself, and the richer and stronger are automatically the criminals.

Marx predicted there will be proletarian revolts against those “criminals” all over the place. When that didn’t happen some of his followers tried to explain why, and produced the more sophisticated neo-Marxist theories of cultural hegemony (the source of multiculturalism). But still, any hatred and violence on the part of the weaker against the stronger will be interpreted as a “proletarian” revolt of the downtrodden against the evil rich, strong and hegemonic capitalists (the West, and especially the US) because that is how the leftists are programmed to think and interpret reality. Therefore the explanation for the Islamic wrath against the US must be America’s sins, in materialistic terms, not religious terms. The religious fanaticism of the Islamists and their followers is also a result of poverty and weakness that are caused by the West and particularly the US.

So to fix the world you need to appease and empower the “downtrodden” and “even the playfield”, so they won’t have “legitimate grievances”, which will prevent war, terrorism and crime, and bring about a socialist paradise of peace, harmony, justice and the brotherhood of man, and woman. This is why even NASA was assigned the mission to make the Muslims feel better about themselves. And this is why the Muslim Brotherhood is acceptable. The MB isn’t an aggressor by its nature – they just have “legitimate grievances” for the existence of Israel and for what Mubarak did to them with American support. So what you have to do is attend to their grievances and all will be well.

Israel is far weaker than the US, but it’s not in conflict with the US. As an ally of the US it’s “on the side of the bad guys” (that’s a direct quote from a leftist, probably an American leftist, but I’m not sure) and accomplice in crime. It’s also *currently* stronger than its enemies. Therefore bullying Israel to the point of endangering its survival doesn’t count as bullying smaller countries, but as administering justice. Only bullying countries that are hostile to the US counts because this is the reason why these countries or cultures hate the US in the first place according to the leftists.

This is how the far left (pretty mainstreamed these days) thinks. Which is why when the US has a far leftist president it’s more rewarding and less dangerous to be its enemy than its friend.

      very well said pnina,

    • Homer

      Several Points, Pnina.

First, to complete your initial idea (they hate us ’cause we had exploited them in the past), brings the complement: we therefore should be friendly toward those people, since everything they think of us is justified.
Second, Obama’s attitude towards Israel can be explained by the fact that Israel has no one else. Therefore, Israelis will be grateful no matter what he does. The fact the he is hurting US interests is simply slipping off.

      • Cynic

I think that after centuries of being badly treated Jews have come to behave as second class citizens and Obama cannot accept that some Jews refuse to go down that road anymore.
They have to behave as they are told!

      • Pnina

“First, to complete your initial idea (they hate us ’cause we had exploited them in the past), brings the complement: we therefore should be friendly toward those people, since everything they think of us is justified.

Just so no one make mistakes, it isn’t my idea. It’s what I hear when I listen to leftists, as least far-leftists. And they don’t think the West exploited others just in the past – they think the West, and particularly the US, is imperialist-colonialist today as well, albeit in more subtle ways – through the economy, international politics, military projects, and through cultural hegemony.

Cultural Hegemony is an important concept to understand in the current leftist thinking. It’s the philosophical and ethical source for multiculturalism, mass immigration, the ideological assault on Western culture, particularly white Christian culture, and much of the leftist foreign policy. What the far left wants to do is destroy Western-Male-White-Christian cultural hegemony on both the national and global levels. In contemporary Marxist thinking destroying the cultural hegemony is a precondition for a socialist revolution. According to Antonio Gramsci the control the ruling class has on the culture is what prevents the masses from rising up because they are sort of brainwashed into thinking the interests of the ruling class are their own interests. So to have a socialist revolution you first have to destroy the common belief in the values and traditions disseminated by the ruling class through the eduation system, media, popular culture and various other social and cultural organs. But not through direct confrontation since that is likely to fail, but through gaining key positions in cultural, social and political institutions and gradually, but constantly, eroding the hegemonic culture and replacing it with an alternative cultural hegemony that will be made of the various oppressed and “oppressed” groups – the poor, minorities, women, gays, even some types of criminals (“victims of society”) – all of those are supposed to unite against the dominant group.

In the West the dominant group is White-Male-Christian-Capitalists. It is also the dominant group globally because the West is the dominant civilization. The more of those adjectives you have, or the more similar you are to any of them, or the better relationship you have with this group, the closer you are to the top that needs to be brought down. For instance, being a White-Female-Christian-Capitalist isn’t as bad as being a White-Male-Christian-Capitalist, but it’s far closer than a Black-Female-Christian-Capitalist. Out of the world religions, Jews are closest to Christians, and unfortunately the majority of Jews have white skin, whether their ancestors lived in Europe or not. A White-Male-Jewish-Capitalist isn’t as bad as a White-Male-Christian-Capitalist, but it’s closer than a White-Male-Muslim-Capitalist, and certainly far closer than a Brown-Male-Muslim-Capitalist. Muslims are preferred to Hindus too even though Islam has more in common with Christianity and Judaism than Hinduism, but Hindus are doing well in the West, in the US they are the richest minority, none of them ever blew up Evil White Capitalists, and India is closer to the West and has a good relationship with it, while in the Muslim bloc you’d find several states and orgnizations who practice “resistance” to Western and particularly American “imperialism-colonialism”, and some of them even knocked down the World Trade Center, which was EXTREMELY symbolic to socialists and was interpreted in Marxist terms even by some supposedly non-Marxist leftists I know (a lot of people who get high education are fed with Marxist ideas without even knowing it). They ignored the fact Al Qaeda targeted also the Pentagon and the White House, and saw it as purely an attack of the oppressed poor on the center of global capitalism.

Having no majority of any kind in a country is one way to prevent any cultural hegemony. If instead of one majority and several minorities you have a multicultural nation made of minorities it’ll be harder for any single group to dominate the others, and if only the currently dominant group will be tolerant it will become a socialist paradise of harmony, justice, and the brotherhood of man, and woman. Even if in reality existing multicultural nations are pretty far from it and do much worse than formerly homogenic countries like Sweden. But don’t bother leftists with reality.

Good post! There are many groups of the “downtrodden.” With all those excellent choices (sub-Saharan Africans, Native Americans, many Latin Americans, etc., etc.), why has Obama so intensely focused on the “downtrodden” of Arab Muslim states and NOT focused on the “downtrodden” of Iran? Could it be that he wants to advance the interests of Islamist states, whether Shia or Sunni? And, if so, why?

    • Cynic

Michael Moore who has trashed Capitalism at every turn has a Lakeshore vacation mansion in Michigan which some say is valued at $2 million.

Moore and his fellow Hwood commies compete for $8 movie tickets from bored audiences which pay their money for 2 hours of escape from the world. If Hwood commies were competing for an $80 or $800 ticket from the audience there would be a thorough examination of the messages within the movies. At $8 a pop the mindless ticket purchasers buy a little popcorn, watch and could care less about the message. Had the decision been to buy a ticket priced 10 or 100 times its current admission price the theaters would soon be empty.

“Ironically, Obama says that he is ashamed of past U.S. bullying and arrogance, its treatment of smaller countries.”

This is simply another way of saying that Obama perceives the United States as mostly a white country that craps on the darker skinned people of the world. The same is true of Israel. Things would be so much easier if the Palestinians had blond hair and blue eyes. It is a mistake to think postmodernist ideologues are rational individuals. The fact that many Israel Jews are also dark skinned—does not make a bit of difference. Israel is supposedly lead by a bunch of reactionary scum bag white Europeans.

    • Vagabond

Dave by golly you have hit the nail right on the head,

    • Indeed. ABout 50% of Israeli Jews are “nonwhite”: descendants of Jews from Arab countries (many Yemenite Jews could pass for black in the USA) or (in the case of Ethiopian Jews) are actually black. Until the Russian mass immigration “nonwhites” were actually a slim majority.

And guess what: the “bleeding hearts” are overwhelmingly “white” (i.e., Ashkenazi) and the hawks overwhelmingly “nonwhite”. I’ve seen many Jewish leftists’ heads explode when I explained this to them. “But… they don’t understand Arabs” “Au contraire — they grew up among them.”

Ironically, in the 1970s many such “nonwhite” Jews were driven into the arms of Israel’s right-wing parties by the condescension of Israel’s Labor Party establishment.

      • Homer

In the 1980s, race was a major issue in Israel.
Now days it’s hard to find. There are so many marriages of mixed origins, that it’s virtually doesn’t exist.

    • When the Jews were in Europe, they were considered too “foreign”, too “colored” separated from the Nordic types of Europe. – Now in the Middle East, Jews are seen as to light-skinned, the sign of the bullying European. Talk about logic? Hardly!

    • leonardo

You are severely ignorant of the truth which will return to bite you in the bum. You don’t know what Israel has endured or what the Jewish people have endured. Read some real history.

      • Frumious Falafel

Oh Christ leonardo, if you’re gonna drop a “poop-bomb” like that, why not at least pay your “colleagues” the respect of “explaining the world” to us. Otherwise, go P*ss off.

I lived in Israel, I have Many friends and family there with whom I speak with daily and I probably read more daily Israeli Newspapers BOTH on the Left and the Right as you do. And I’ll put MY reputation, such that it is, on the line by backing all the above statements other than your little poop-bomb. If you want us to take you seriously, then spit it out, and spell it out, man.

So far, what you said is exactly the equivalent of the following: “nyah nyah leonardo, you don’t know what you are talking about. You are severely ignorant of the truth which will return to bite you in the tush / tachat. You clearly don’t know what Israel has endured or what the Jewish people have endured. Please, do yourself a favor and read some real history — you know, the kind that I read with the little pictures in each frame, not stupid dumb boooooring stuff with all those long words.

Maybe 10 years later, when you’ve given yourself an education in comic-book history, I’ll speak to you, but until then I’ll just drop this little, ahem, and push my nose up into the air. Ahhh, that’s the stance to which I’m accustomed.

  6. 6. michael hoskins

Around the edges of the topic.

It may be semantic, but the entire world confuses Race with Ethnicity (or nationality). Jews were an ethnic group. Since the diaspora, they are more like a nationality. Racially, Jews, Arabs, Europeans are the same.
    Mexicans are Amerindian and European.
    Africans are Negro.
    Everybody are People.

    (Patience, this is going somewhere!lol)

War, all war, is economic. It is always about taking or protecting something from someone else. No one can name a war that isn’t about economics. All the talk of races, nationalities, ‘isms are just ways of separating the We from the They. The left is in a constant state of war…always seeking to take from one They or another and give to a self described We. It is to their advantage to maintain as many subgroups as possible in order to maximize opportunities for theft. Hence all the hyphenated labels.

Even if we are all the same, some ‘win life’s lottery’. Envy is as much as sin as sloth. Get on with life.

    ta

    • Pnina

That’s not entirely accurate, but generally there is a confusion between race, ethnicity and nationality. Jewish identity is in itself confusing to people who think in Modern Western concepts because according to Jewish tradition a Jew is either a physical or a spiritual descendant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Converts become part of the Jewish People (as in folk, nation, ethnic group). Some believe that converts have a Jewish soul that was born to non-Jewish parents, and that’s why they’re attracted to Judaism. But Jewish atheists are also considered Jews.

Jews were never a race like many people think or used to think. Like you said, we were an ethnic group and a nationality. But Jews are still a distinct ethnic group. Ethnicity has both physical and cultural components. The Jews of today are racially mixed (they were most likely racially mixed in biblical times as well, but less so than today after the diaspora), but nearly all the Jewish communities in the world have also common ancestry according to pretty much all researches in mulecular genetics conducted from the late 90s till today. To put it simply, Jews had to migrate from place to place in large numbers due to changing circumstances and pressures. With every migration part of them married locals (who probably converted) that assimilated into the existing Jewish population (assimilation went both ways, of course – many Jews assimilated into the local population, particularly if they converted). So most Jewish communities have both Middle Eastern ancestors and local ancestors.

As for skin color – according to both biblical descriptions and the color range in Middle Eastern Jewish communities, as well as the color range in other Middle Eastern communities (mostly non-Arab communities of ancient origins), the ancient Jews probably varied between white skinned and dark skinned. If you take a group with more or less equal distribution of light and dark skin shades and marry part of it with whites, their offspring will most likely have a white-skinned majority with some dark skinned. If you marry part of the same group with browns it’ll most likely have a brown majority with some white skinned members. Most Middle Eastern Jewish communities have many white skinned members, including blue-eyed blonds. Ashkenazi Jews are overwhelmingly white-skinned, but there are also dark Ashkenazim.

If you want to see some examples, here are a couple of white skinned Middle Eastern Jews:

Shiri Maimon (her parents were born in Morocco and Tunisia):

Korin Alal – born in Tunisia (white skin, blue eyes):
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nowQ8PsdArY

      Dark Ashkenazim:

Idan Reichel (the lead singer. The first singer to apear is an Ethiopian Jew):

Nir Davidovich (both his parents are Euro Holocaust survivors):

Ironically, the Nazis killed Jews because we aren’t white. Now they hate us, among other things, because we’re white. In Europe we were considered Semitic aliens, but Israeli Jews are considered “white European aliens”. Our identity seems to be a matter of convenience to the haters.

    • Pnina

Oh and it depends on how you define economics, no? Is imposing Sharia law on the entire land (the stated goal of Islamists), even if it’s a small barren land with no natural resources, and limited strategic value, also about economics?

      • eon

        Precisely.

War, as Tom Clancy says, is the large-scale equivalent of a mugging. “They’ve got. We want it. Let’s get it.”

But “it” is not necessarily always material. The Nazis are a case in point. They attacked Poland and Belgium as part of a plan to conquer Russia and France, for purely economic/strategic reasons (“Lebensraum”, revenge for 1918, and all that).

Exactly none of which explains the murder of six million Jews and another million-plus gypsies, etc. Many of them Germans.

That was done for purely “philosophical” reasons. The Nazi philosophy held that (A) they were perfect, and (B) those they hated weren’t, so (C) those in Category A were justified in obliterating those in Category B. Which is why today we consider that (D) “Nazi” describes somebody on a mental and moral level somewhere below pond scum.

The Palestinians today have the same problem. The belief that exterminating Jews and others they regard as “infidels” is a necessary part of their self-improvement. In fact, is all they need to do to achieve perfection.

My take is that with a tribalist culture as old as Islam, if it hasn’t improved by now under its present assumptions, it never will until it changes its assumptions. Something which does not seem to be in the offing anytime soon.

And constantly insisting that it’s all Somebody Else’s Fault isn’t going to help them any. Especially when they spend most of their time, effort, and resources trying to kill that Somebody Else instead of working to solve their own problems themselves.

I used to wonder why the “intellectual left” here seems unable to grasp this basic fact. Then I realized that they approve of such things because “victimization” is a big part of their own philosophy. “It’s not your fault that things are rotten, it’s because you’ve been exploited by (Insert Name Of Appropriate Western/Capitalist/Non-Socialist Group Here).”

Plus, of course, their belief that the Palestinians are another group who will be at their beck and call when they, the elite’, Rule The World As They Are Destined To Do.

The only term I can think of which adequately describes the results of these mindsets working in concert is a “moronic convergence”.

Unless, of course, I resort to the much older term for such things.

        Evil.

A leftist is obliged to judge everything and everyone by the same absolute moral standards. From a leftist point of view, there’s no difference between Nazis invading Poland and Jews invading Palestine. There’s no difference between the Allies waging war on Germany and the Arab League waging war on Israel. No difference between the USSR subverting democratic governments and the US subverting communist governments. Whether this is sincere belief or Alinskyism depends on the leftist.

        • michael hoskins

One of the many reasons behind the holocaust (beyond insanity) was the believe that Jews had lots of many, aka ‘the stash’, and, more importantly, the Jews held a large part of the intellectual capability of Germany with which to question the insanity. Power is the same as money. You do not need money if you live in one of several mansions (Hitler), have all the food and retainers you need and everyone loves you. If it is provided by the state, as part of being el supremo, who needs a big salary.
War, at the highest level, is about money and power. Purges are a removal of an inconvenient they.

      • white tiger

No, but war IS all about greed. Greed for money, power, status, etc.
James 4.1-3 explains this clearly. The reference is not to those who respond in self defense; but to those who initiate.

        • Zuni Lan

to my sweet innocent non-jew. wars are also fought for defence and survival when people are out to get u . OR DIDNT YOU KNOW

          • michael hoskins

You are fond of calling people stupid. If you really read the opening comment…wars are about getting or defending. OBVIOUSLY. This even allows the preemptive defensive attack. No one said the strategies would be unsophisticated.

        • michael hoskins

Yes, greed, but do not rule out desperation. A famine induced migration/ invasion is an example. What options do Greeks have today? Austerity, immigration, a war against a neighbor to absorb military aged males and maybe win some economic benefit? The last is something a callous power hording leader may consider.
The ‘something’ being sought or defended always leads back to money and power.
          ta

      • michael hoskins

        Yes.
        1. Islam depends on imposition as a source of revenue. It is not so much interested in achieving sharia world wide as it is in carrying out the acts of theft from non believers during the imposition of sharia.
        2. Sharia dictates how the wealthy is distributed. The peasants don’t get none. Peasants are all promised spoils from the ‘they’ of the week.

    • What we’ve done to ourselves morally, is now happening financially…
The chronic condition of the economy is a symptom of an amoral society urging it’s corrupt leaders to take this path.
Do desperate times bring desperate measures? In spite of our leaders, the answer lies in the moral fortitude of it’s people.
It could be said that a countries population has outgrown the maximum output of it’s natural resources, losing it’s ability to feed itself. All this growth would likely occur during optimum weather conditions spurring a good economy.
Is it fair to say the end result of good times is an inevitable disaster looming in the shadowy future? Reaching Critical Mass so to speak.
How we react will reveal our character.

‘Nation’ is a racial term. It refers to a group of related people. Germany is a state. Because (at least in the past) almost everyone living there was German, it was a nation-state. But the German nation is larger than the state of Germany. It includes the German Swiss, the Sudeten Germans, and the Volga-Deutsch. Racially, as opposed to ethnically, it would include all Germanic peoples — Scandinavia, the Netherlands, the Anglo-Saxons (England). Jews are a race. Judaism considers anyone born of a Jewish mother to be a Jew. The percentage of Jews who are observant of the religious requirements of the Jewish religion is miniscule. As someone said: If Judaism is the religion practiced by Jews, then Judaism is the platform of the Democratic Party. What united Jews is their race, not their religion.

      • Andy Gump (formerly Oscar the Grump)

Please tell this to all the black Jews and Asian Jews, so they can understand that they are part of the same race. Or rather, you are full of sh*t.

      • Zuni Lan

we are a people with a heredity thats it. I was born an atheist, my family murdered over there and me and kids fighting here. I dare anyone to question my Jewishness.

  7. 7. Ken Besig, Israel

Obama is difficult for any Israeli to “get along with” because Obama has no particular affection for or understanding of Israel. Obama at his best sees Israel as a problem, and at his worst at odds with his policies. Frankly there is no Israeli with a chance of satisfying Obama except to keep as low a profile as possible until Obama is out of office.

  8. 8. joy52

To throw a wrench into your theories: Everyone of them knows when a mike is open. It always happens at that summit. So, why? To ‘diss’ Netanyahu was to disassociate themselves and give themselves deniability for any action Isreal has to take against Iran. It has been out in the press that the US says a bombing run by Isreal is ‘off the table’. Sarkozy is a realist and Obama–he’s no Reagan. Whatever they may say about Netanyahu, who of those three knows about fighting for survival?

    • MarcH

I agree with you about “open mikes”. It is a not uncommon way for leaders to make points in public withouth being fully held to account for them. R’s use them too: Reagan’s “the bombing begins in five minutes”, McCain’s “bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, iran …”.

      • My favorite open mike moment was, during the 2nd Lebanese War, Bush telling Blair he hoped the UN would “get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this sh*t”,

  9. 9. Carl Sesar

Jewish voters went 4 to 1 for Obama.

Obama has just endorsed Israel’s deadliest enemy and the most important anti-Semitic group in the world.

    • Vagabond

well Carl they are reaping what they sowed. and those who voted for a community organiser deserve him,

      • Carl Sesar

American Jews who voted for Obama and should have known better do not deserve what Obama and those enemies of Israel and the Jews that he endorses have in store for them, nor do Jews anywhere else in the world.

        • sinz54

According to the polls, most American Jews still back Obama.

American Jews have always leaned left. Jewish women were and still are active in the feminist movement.

They support Obama despite his anti-Israel stance, because he’s a leftist like they.

          • Carl Sesar

Sadly, it is all too true that most American Jews still back Obama.

At this moment it is hard to say how many of those American Jews who still back Obama are dupes and don’t yet understand that Obama has just endorsed Israel’s deadliest enemy and most important anti-Semitic group in the world.

It is also hard to say at the moment how many of those American Jews will, hopefully, have awakened to these harsh facts about Obama, until November 2012, when the votes are in, and have been counted and analyzed.

Finally, it’s still hard to know how many American Jews share in Obama’s antipathy toward Israel, but they do exist.

  10. 10. PhillipGaley

Most unpresidential, betraying poorly formed character; Sarkozy too, was in poor form, . . .

    • kb

Not only that, but it indicates that Obama is not the leader in a room when he is alone with Sarkosy. And there is a nice proverb that comes to mind: “Curse not the king[leader of a nation], no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber: for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.”

  11. 11. pelaut

“…the king of the land is the king…”

That’s precisely the problem. My U.S. President is the PRESIDING OFFICER of the administrative functions in our tri-partite Republican government.

Congress proposes, the President disposes and the Supreme Court arbitrates disputes.

Obama and his czars hate Netanyahu because they are bent on bringing on the 3rd Caliphate which they won’t have to live to suffer. With it will come down the curtain of a long dark age.

Don’t ever underestimate the consequences of these adolescent U.S. elites.

    • AD

“…Congress proposes, the President disposes and the Supreme Court arbitrates disputes…”

You’ve got the relationship of Congress and the President backwards:
The President proposes, and the Congress disposes…
He who holds the purse, and all that.

I understand polispeak and can translate what Barry and Shorty said. “It’s all the fault of those pesky Jooos I tell you Barry.” “I know Nick, they just won’t get back in the cattle cars like last time”

  13. 13. Benton H Marder

Whoever heard the speech to the United Nations earlier this year would easily realise that Bibi is a great man, and that Obama and Sarkozy are moral pygmies. It’s as simple as that.

  14. 14. Kim

I can’t help but think this was intended to be heard. This “not realizing the mike is on” fake out is being used more and more by these ass clowns.

  15. “Second, when PA leader Yasir Arafat doomed the Camp David talks in 2000 and turned to massive violence, then President Bill Clinton was livid. He openly blamed Arafat and the PA. Over time, though, this was all forgotten. Clinton today blames Israel for the lack of peace.”

And yet, and yet, Obama STILL thinks that if he is just nicer to the Paletinians, if we just “negotiate” with them even longer, if we just make more concessions to them or pay them more blackmail money, things will be just fine with the Palestinians. So how has that “Smart Power” been working for us since them? Pretty lousy. In fact, they have gotten even worse, with the Palestinians all but declaring yet another war on Israel.

If I were Israel I would give the Palestianians nothing. Absolutely nothing. Israel is the only country in the world that gets attacked again and again by its neighbors and then is expected to pay back the very people that attacked them. It is insane and if I were the Israelis I would simply tell the Palestinians that Israel is keeping all of the land it now has and have a nice day. The Palestinians are going to attack Israel anyway and are simply waiting for Iran to get a nuclear bomb, so that Hamas, Hezbollah, Egypt, and Syria can all join in on Iran’s final attack on Israel. So the Israelis may as well go into this with as much land as possible and tell the rest of the world to just bug off. With Israel, there is no “defense in depth.” Hold on to the land, invest in a great anti-missile system, and stay armed to the teeth. That is the only way guarantee their right to exist. If you are well armed, you get to exist. If not, you don’t. Simple as that.

    • AD

      Exactly!
The natural, geographic, eastern border for Israel is the Jordan River.
Also, they should have never been coerced into giving up Sinai.
Recognition then, of these “facts on the ground”, would obviate the problems today of the Gaza and the West-Bank.

      • Zuni Lan

Interesting points. Are u sending your kids to fight ? Or do you expect we do it all for u?

My message to the Palestinians is the same as my message to the Mexicans and my message to the American Indians:

      • michiganruth

yes! to the victor go the spoils–except if it’s Israel. in that case, the victor must voluntarily give up the spoils, ask for forgiveness, and forbear to defend its citizens when they come under almost-constant attack.

“And yet, and yet, Obama STILL thinks that if he is just nicer to the Paletinians, if we just “negotiate” with them even longer, if we just make more concessions to them or pay them more blackmail money, things will be just fine with the Palestinians.”
It is not only Obama who thinks this drivel. I heard a talk by Yael Tamor at Stanford U. where she used almost exactly this language to explaine the failures of Camp David and Taba.

  16. 16. mstr

Yet another another high school level drivel from Barry Rubin trying pass as a high minded analysis. Barry Rubin was wrong about Iraq, wrong about Arab spring, and he is clueless about Turkey. Even worse, he does not critically examine why his prediction were all false. Now that is not sign of an analytical mind but rather a third rate scholar who pushes cliches and prejudice as if commonly accepted truth. Now, his pigeon holing countries into “moderates” versus “radicals” is a sleight had whereby if a country is on good terms with Israel it is “moderate.” And given that Israeli interest and the “western” interest are one and the same, so anyone who is against Israel is also against Spain. Further, radicals are according to some unknown taxonomy they are “Islamist”. So Islamists are ideologically against Israel because they are ideologically anti-semitic. There are many problems with this. First, anti semitism is not known among muslims until they were introduced by Indian muslims who learned it from the British.

  17. 17. cfbleachers

Well, one must decipher the clipped “asides” that were whispered between a Frenchman and Obama by taking a peek at not just the moment, but the whole of a lifetime that led up to that moment.

Obama was born to a white beatnik girl and given the name of a black, Kenyan Socialist. He was raised by a ne’er-do-well grandfather who was a bit of an anarchist, and mentored by a black, anti-government Communist. He sought out the most radical professors at college, hung out at Cooper Union with the Cloward-Piven “overthrow” types, went on to an Alinskyite career in “community organizing” against capitalism generally and banks particularly.

He joined a black nationalist church based upon anti-capitalism and a raging, frothing hatred against white people, most especially Jews. He hung out with Rashid Khalidi and was a promoter of Edward Said.

He befriended Ali Abuminah and had an array of close associations with Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam.

He was closely attached to the Midwest Academy, Bill Ayers and the New Party.

The types of “Jews” with which Obama was interacting…had and have histories of Israel loathing.

Robert Malley, whose parents were thrown out of …of all places…France…for their publishing of a paper that was little more than a perpetual smear campaign against the Jews. George Soros may get a pass in some quarters for his actions in his youth, and for his complete lack of remorse or empathy…but, no matter what one thinks of the Hobson’s Choice in those days, one can certainly assess his actions as a mature adult. His desire to tear down capitalism is not especially well hidden.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, Samantha Power, the whole stinking lot of the “close advisor cadre” is chock full of people who do not have Israel high on their list of favorite nations.

Long before he became the US Pleather-dent, Obama was on record despising the Likud and saying offensive things about Netanyahu. They can be found with a “feeling lucky” search on Google…no need for resourceful pure academic research. The pages of history stolen daily by our conspiratorial media empire do not cover over ALL the footsteps yet of an Obama past. (the tape stolen from the eyes and ears of the people of America and Israel by the LA Times and held hostage to this day notwithstanding)

Obama’s entirety…is rife with father figures, mentors, dear friends…who despise Israel, barely tolerate breathing the same air space as devoted Jews and is just barely beneath the surface contemptuous of the existence of both of them.

Sarkozy may not like Obama and he may not be a rabid Jew hater…but he is French. And, there is more than a little tiny bit of rabid Jew hating that courses through the veins of an enormous section of a really disagreeable bunch of people who share that description. French “feelings” toward the Jews and Israel can be polled at any time…and some very “interesting” notions would bubble up to the surface.

The BBC approach to Israel is not limited to the Brits. Obama and the French do not stray too far from those same roots.

Self-loathing, anti-free market, overthrow capitalism Jews are like pet tigers kept by Obama and his ilk…to set upon America and Israel…in order to first apologize for their grotesque existence, then to tear them apart…and give away the shattered pieces to the “oppressed victims”…and…their leftist masters…in the final solution…of “redistribution”. The small c communists have no more use for Jews than the large C communists did.

Religion is an obstacle, and Old and New Testament adherents are the enemy. A whole country based upon the Bible…is something to be destroyed.

Sarkozy says that Bibi is a liar. Obama says that the Bible is a lie. Neither one will say either thing out loud for public consumption.

May we live to see the days of power of men like this pass into the mists of history.

      cfbleachers… nice summation.
Yet we did elect this man to our highest office, causing many to keep asking… what does that say about the reat of us? All in spite of the fact that much of this information had been out there.
Granted, he was the obvious beneficiary of a perfect storm. An over-friendly media having a “slobbering love affair”, a country racked by “white guilt” wanting once and for all to prove to the rest of the world that we were not a racist nation and most of all, a really painful but a curioulsy “timely” credit collapse causing many to vote their pocketbooks.
Personally, this gentile stands proudly with Israel. And had Bebe Netanyahu been born a U.S. citizen and happened to be a candidate today, he would easily have been my choice for president.

    • Jeffrey

      Nice work cfbleachers.
“May we live to see the days of power of men like this pass into the mists of history.”
Since Carter US Presidents have been lending their power to the beasts of the middle east. While the majority of Americans support Israel, these governments find themselves doing the biding of demons. Israel has proven “a stone too heavy to lift” and therefore injures all who try. A judgment was made long ago that enemies of Israel would die trying to wipe her off the face of the Earth.
The Righteous Judge believes that those who hate Israel hate Him, since He gave the world The Law and Christianity through Israel. How could He think otherwise?
There is still enough light to make a clear choice, but even the leaders of the free world are being dragged to their own destruction. Let’s hope the people who support Israel can separate from their own governments enough to avoid the judgment mentioned above. There is touble coming from those who believe they have a right to hatred and perversion and that we have to bow to their wishes.
God does not agree with them and sadly for them they are about to find that what He really thinks is more than very offensive to them, it is death to them.

  18. 18. tanstaafl

Incidentally, Sarkozy has also not been a fan of Obama in the past.

Near the outset of Obama’s presidency, after one of his European trips, Sarkozy (correctly) described Obama as “incredibly naive and grossly egotistical” and declared that those were not positive signs in the putative leader of the free world.

Now they buddy up to rag on Netanyahu ? Sarkozy is hoping to increase his prestige and apparently diminishing chances for re-election by negotiating something between the Israelis and Palestinians ?

Trying to get a feather in his cap and frustrated that Netanyahu isn’t buying into that stupid game ?

In the face of this long list of damage being done by Obama to Israel, he has a lot of nerve to snap about Netanyahu.

    Embarrassing.

…I might get caught complaining that we have to deal with Obama every day.

    And we do, too.

Which one do you think will grow up to be a leader ?

  19. 19. tanstaafl

Support for Israel is much stronger in the United States Congress than it is the Executive.

Obama has to pretend that he likes Israel in the same way that he has to pretend that he likes the United States Constitution, a Constitution with its “negative” built in restraints on the power of the federal government. (However poorly those restraints might be working these days under weak reinforcement coupled with a relentless Executive power grab)

Obama has to pretend he supports the symbol of America, now always sporting the flag pin which he haughtily refused to do in his early days as a candidate.

He has to pretend he supports United States veterans, particularly since next year is an election year.

Michelle and Barack should both get ulcers from all the pretending.

    • jjcostandi

I’ve decided to join your intellectual circus @tanstaafl.
It is obvious that support for Israel is much stronger in the United States than in Israel itself.
Question: Are those Israelis a good old bunch of self-hating Jews or what?

Point one: Israelis speak Arabic and live among the Arabs, not in Paris or Cambridge MA. They understand the Arabs. Life and death are not a theory to be discussed over a latte.
Point Two: American Jews are like the German Jews. They can’t believe that this
generation of anti-Semites means them. Whether the anti-Semites run the State Department or the political science departments at our tax supported universities.
Point three: 20% of Israelis are Arabs with full rights. The The Israeli Consul
who was shouted down is Druze, and the Druze serve in the Israeli army.
Point four: For some unknown reason Obama believes that he is the smartest guy in the room(must be that self esteem thing) and found out that Netanyahu is more intelligent.
Point five: Obama is like the kids of a single parent family(headed by women mostly) who crave to belong. Some join gangs, some join other male groups. Obama joined an American hating group( Ayres) in Chicago. Belonged to anti-American, anti-White church, anti-Semitic offshoot of the Black Muslims for 20 years.

  22. 22. Jane Air

In some ways President Obama cannot be blamed for thinking he is on an equal footing of understanding with Bibi. Many Americans today believe that sheer moral positioning and intellect trump experience but politicking in Chicago and on college campuses provides provincialism and not a nuanced idea of over 6 decades of complicated conflicting cultures.

Obama’s belief system, witting or unwittingly based in Marxist Critical Pedagogy, where morality is doled out according to social, economic and underdog status, simply does not prepare him for the reality of global politics; one can put all the gloss on the proverbial eternal refugee and their being denied human rights you want and build statues to them to but at some point one has to stop worshiping failure.

Worse, Obama’s belief system is only applied to “them” and not his and himself, as Obama and his close associates are wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice and Obama himself put a racist, Eric Holder, at the helm of the now mis-named Dept. of Justice.

What the President has to “deal” with is quite simply something he is in no way suited to deal with. And it should be noted that Obama doesn’t have to “deal” with rockets fired into his backyard, an event almost certain to deliver and unexpectedly different perspective.

  23. 23. K2K

Sarkozy is struggling to get re-elected (and probably also needs Sweden’s support in the Euro-crisis).
Obama should have changed the subject, but chose not to. Probably infururiated that he has yet to learn how to read maps during his three years on on-the-job training.

  26. 26. Tex Expatriate

I was happy when the author finally got to the main reason why Obama doesn’t like Netanyahu–the schooling Barack got at Bibi’s hand. But there’s another reason. Obama is a native-born Muslim. In Mohammedanism, or Islam if you prefer, one’s religion is determined paternally. Obama is a born Muslim, and he will be a born Muslim until he publically turns his back on it and becomes an apostate. He has never done that. The most he has done is say that he became a Christian in what is a decidedly non-Christian Church in Chicago. He has said the most beautiful sound on the world is the Muslim call to prayer, and has established a pro-Islam public policy in the State Department.

You can bet he hated the schooling he got from Bibi.

  27. 27. Zuni Lan

I opened this cuckoo page in error.

I am fanatical Zionist and extreme left wing – work that out. Half the country are more or less like me – sorry. A huge majority would return the occupied territories for peace. Most Israelis, left and right, cant handle neocom BIB ( the liar) and Sarah

And oops I live in Tsfat. One harridi said my problem was that I read newspapers!

    • Menachem Ben Yakov

      Not a word of truth.

    • Pnina

If you think your crazy friends make half of Israel maybe you should get around a bit more. Yes, a majority of Israelis would give up Judea and Samaria for peace, but a majority of Israelis know the other side doesn’t want peace. If a majority of Israelis were indeed like you Meretz would be the governing party. In the latest poll the Likud had a plurality and the right wing had a majority.

And it has nothing to do with being leftist or not. I supported the Oslo Accords, but with time and as information accumulated, I realized the Arabs don’t mean peace. Real Arab moderates are few and they’re considered traitors and/or corrupt by the rest. That’s the problem.

      • Zuni Lan

We have to try everything we can. I would give back the occupied territories before morning coffee – probably they will start shooting by lunch time. But we HAVE to try. Even in the Torah – life is above everything else. We also got the toughest army in the area.

Since the Oslo accords terror has almost dropped to zero on the west bank. But if Bibi continues his merry way of rubbing their noses – it WILL start again.

Whatever you say, Rabin was probably the warmest caring PM we had.

In 1981 he said the problem is not the Palestinians with whom, we have to make peace , the problem is Iran and Iraq(at the time)

        • Maxtrue

I was indeed Meretz but went all the way right to Labor. The king is slowly losing his clothes – VERY high chance that we will get in next time. Less because of the territories – more because of the disgraceful social conditions we have found ourselves in. There are many more leaving than coming – including hundreds of scientists and hi-tech who are our bread and butter. Also because of the religious who give nothing and take everything.

There are more billionaires in Israel that Britain!!! The difference between rich and poor is greater than America! The greatest in the world, except us. Todah Bibi.

Who the hell is this complete and utter nut? I’ve been on PJ since the very first day — people will at least recognize my moniker. But I’ve been away for a few months, and this gentleman seems to have made a name for himself. I’m all for that. But the flotsam and jetsam that flows in waves out of his mouth is almost incomprehensible. He mentions “Sarah” all the way up with ZERO context, and I thought to myself, “this guy can’t possibly mean ‘Sarah Netanyahu?’!”

But sure-the-frick-enough, that IS what he meant. it’s like a stone in his shoe, he couldn’t even wait for a proper context in which to mention his apparent hatred or apathy towards Mrs. Netanyahu. My G-d, is this guy filled with hatred!

That’s what true anti-Semites are like too you know Mr. Lan — they cannot wait for someone to mention “a Jew” — it’s simply itching them so bad to say all the “negative erudite” things they think they know about Jews that they just jump right on in with that nonsense. That’s EXACTLY what you did with “Sarah!” Man, emotionally, you are no different. With your “thank you Bibi” after every post… wow!

Just so you don’t utterly distort what I’ve said: I am in no way shape or form calling you an anti-Semite: that would be absurd. I’m calling you a person obsessed in the same way in which Anti-Semites can become obsessed with Jews [as well as other people can become obsessed with other things]

“Yes, a majority of Israelis would give up Judea and Samaria for peace, but a majority of Israelis know the other side doesn’t want peace.”

The Leadership of the other side doesn’t want peace. True. That means preparing for aggression. However, Judea and Samaria are critical to any viable Palestinian State which is why the majority would give them up for peace. Annex them and peace isn’t an option, is it? Demographically there is no choice beyond a Two State solution unless there is a forced expulsion of Arabs. That is an untenable moral position in light of the expulsion of Jews from Muslim lands.

For what Israelis pay (those that work) for those that don’t work, they could have built both a ballistic missile shield and the non nuclear means to destroy Iran’s underground facilities by air. Ironic, isn’t it?

The religious minority would have Israelis believe God will protect them from fallout. That is not the reasoning that saved Israel from destruction…

        • Charles

Is it not evident that, as long as Hamas is Hamas and the P.A. is the P.A. and as long as Islamists are in the ascendancy as they are throughout the Arab Spring and elsewhere, there can be no true peace? And, given that the Koran vilifies Jews and professes that Allah wants them dead, is it not a certainty that there will always be a group of fanatics who will want to see Allah’s fantasies fulfilled? The “two state solution,” however it might be worked out, would not eliminate the injunctions of the Koran. And the Koran is, after all, immutable, the exact “word of God.”

To me, the “peace process” is “so much sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

“The king of the land is king”

    The king of -what- land??

Barry – Are you suggesting that Obama is the king of Israel and must be obeyed by its leaders?

That is certainly what it sounded like, in context.

A reminder – Obama is not the king of our land (the US), nor is he the king of anyone elses land, no matter how much he might think he is.

Btw, the original phrase is ‘dina d’malchusa dina’ (the law of the land is the law’. This refers to the need to respect the laws of the land one resides in.

    • Zuni Lan

Wow Miriam – you sound like an inquisitor in Spain – searching for a Jew!

      • Miriam

I have no idea what your comment is referring to. It simply leaves the impression that you read my comment and had no idea what I was talking about. Here is the original quote from Rubin:

“A little lesson in diplomacy: the king of the land is the king. Israel must get along with Obama to the best of its ability. It cannot criticize him in public and must be circumspect in discussing even his policies…”

Rubin seems to be saying here that (because of US supremacy, foreign aid, etc,) that Israel needs to be ‘circumspect’ in it’s dealings and treat Obama and the US as ‘the king of the land’. An idea which many would find repugnant, as Israel is a sovereign nation with its survival at stake.

I also added the correct translation of the well-known phrase (from the Talmud) that ‘The law of the land is the law’ – which Rubin seeemed to use and translate incorrectly.

So again – I have no idea whatsoever what you were talking about.

I believe that Obama’s hostile attitude towards Israel may not be universal to all Democrat political ranks, but his closest Jewish political contacts “live” with his hostility because for them, it’s not for concern of Jews that they’re in politics. Rather, they’re part of the Democrat machine that has gone to extremes to back Obama and be part of concealing his unqualified past. Through that, they have been financially rewarded.

They’re in too deep now and for their lying and deceiving they’re “owned.” They may have been born as Jews, but they crossed the line from Judaism to a religious fanaticism for the Obama part of Democrat operations. If Obama goes under, so will they. That is what drives them to do their damage.

As for Obama, after 20 years of sitting in Rev. Wright’s black liberation theology church, and insisting that he heard nothing there, he was indoctrinated in Jew-hate which is Rev. Wright’s church practice. His knee-jerk rewaction to anything of Israel or Jewish will be hostile.
And, there’s no question that he’s loyal and sympathetic to Islam, if not a closet Muslim himself.

      Thanks Mr. Stan Lee
You have said the true but unfortunately there is Billions of peoples all around the world that have same ideology like Obama and those people supporting President Barrak Hessian Obama too as we can see some Anti Zionism post too.

Hands up those who are STILL living in denial and think Obambi is not a Mohammedan. The CULT in to which he was born the CULT that raised him the CULT that ALL the members of BOTH his paternal families have always belonged to.

Sorry, but I’m having a hard time believing there was ever any such conversation and I definitely don’t believe there was some “hot mic”. The whole news story smells to high heaven. I mean, neither Obama or Sarkozy are fluent in each others’ language and from what I’ve read, they were both wearing mics hooked to translators at the G-20 meeting and both “forgot” they were on. So, these translators just spit out what they knew was “street talk” between two world leaders and a Reuters reporter just happened to still have his translator ears on— yea, that’s the ticket. BS!!!!!!!

The French need to watch their backs to protect law abiding citizens from a spill over of radical Muslims from their several “no go” area around Paris and other large cities in “protest” if and when Muslim Brotherhood et al, decides to incite Israel. And, Obama just seems to have a need to maintain his ” street creds ” amongst Muslims — like the time he was photographed with his feet up on his desk, exposing the soles of his shoes—- while he was supposedly talking to Netanyahu.

  32. Seems like the 1930s, doesn’t it?
Temporizing politicians. Heedless citizens. Maniacs accumulating weapons, while expressing their desire to use them.
The result is predictable: With every passing day, the price to be paid grows. The only question is, Will it be your children who must die this war, or will it be your neighbor’s?

      Mr Pac,

keep cool and trust the IDF.

That depends on whether our military can complete the application of the equation M x V before the money runs dry.

      • Zuni Lan

BB always said we had become a rich nation. Of course until our youth start making justifiable demands, then, oops, we were poor.

        • Maxtrue

I was referring to America, but I assume Israel has even less reason to squander billions that could have been better spent building hypersonic EPW.

My friend was in charge of agricultural negotiations with the Palestinians as part of the accords. Whatever he offered they wanted more. He came in desperation to Rabin asking how to proceed. Rabin waved his hands as was wont to do and said. “Just finish! It doesn’t really matter, just finish finish!” It was the bigger picture that was important not the amount of Oranges to be exported!

Please please my friends, brothers and comrades – please open your eyes to the bigger picture! Open your eyes to the blood that has been spilled needlessly – ours and theirs.

    • Maxtrue

Needless to say who murdered Rabin…..

      • Zuni Lan

A young Jew totally indoctrinated by BB and his ilk.

You are in no way the majority in Israel and your party past and present are shrinking so much that in the next election maybe your friends will be allowed to serve coffee in the Knesset . if they ask nicely;))

Exactly who you know was convicted. It certainly wasn’t an Arab, was it? Perhaps Bibi doesn’t know what a “green light” means. After rabin, not too many Liberal Hawks left…..

No doubt. Why? Perhaps this escapes many people.

But the real problem is Netanyahu according to Sarkozy and Obama. Talk about liars. I have to deal with the latter every day. Empire wants to raise my bill by 21%.

two unintelligence inexperience President of two super power called Benjamin Netanyahu is lair and why ?
First-read the biography of President Barrak Hussein Obama ,His father was Muslim also his step father was Muslim too, His mother was extreme leftist all of his friend were Anti Zionism and some Anti American and even terrorist ,20 years participated Barrak Hussein Obama in trinity Church is prove his hate to Jews and his Anti American ,
Second-PM Benjamin Netanyahu is aware of Barrak Hussein Obama ideology Benjamin Netanyahu know President Obama is not honest and it is impossible to trust him and for same reason he could not be honest with the President like Obama beside the US president coming and going but the future and security of Israel for the Jews is the most impotent and nothing can replaced,
Third-President Sarkozy is inexperience about the conflict in M,E and for same reason he mostly care for next election and he need the support of 12 million Muslim who are living in France.
